GiantBomb on front page of official site!
"Cool."
Yeah, I know, it isn't the greatest thing in the world. But think about this, for a second. GiantBomb is still a fledgling site and to be put on front page of a major website, of the single most played MMO and one of the (if not the single) most played game in the world, is a great chance for a reputation to be established and more traffic for the website to be added. The more people that read the well written reviews here, explore the site, and see the community, the more people that may want to join in to arm the GiantBomb.
This can definitely work to the site's advantage, hopefully it does. I think this could be a great opportunity.
'Tis awesome.
:P
Dude i've seen Giantbomb on other major websites but i just cant remember where, i felt the same way when i saw them on the first page for a game on Metacritic.

Metacritic is pretty worthless and they distort figures. I'm more excited to see the developers themselves recognizing GiantBomb and having the opportunity for people who play World of Warcraft to check out the site because it is listed on their favorite website's front page.
That's cool I guess, regardless of how much I don't like WoW(hopefully more devs use them as an example.) Yeah though, they've been in metacritic for a while, and honestly I wish they weren't...same with 1up. Metacritic takes their scores and averages the complete wrong ones all the time, on top of that even if everything was done properly it would sill be fucking retarded. I'm so sick of metacritic. They take GB's 5/5 scores as 100/100 which would only be a 10/10 on sites with 10 scales, which is totally not equal in any way, since GB's 5/5 rating is just telling you whether they had a real good time with it or not. Metacritic is so broken its not funny.

Anyway, I just think this is a cool little show of GiantBomb getting out into the public spotlight. /shrug
"oh noes the wowfags r teh floodings.... jk i guess thats a great thing."
You know, despite the stigma that WoW bathes in, World of Warcraft is an amazing game. It is smooth, accessable, deep, rich with lore, and most of all, it's fun.
If you can't find it you can take a picture of a big ass, and smack a quote on it?
And THEN take a picture of THAT and put it on thr front of the MTV store in NY for good measure.
Wouldn't that be cooler?
On Topic : This is great, and as far as im concerned, Andy's review is quite dead on and it truly deserves a 5-star rating. Wow has never been THIS good. It's still WoW, but its the best content period.
"Apparently there's a big-ass Giant Bomb quote on the front of the MTV store in Times Square in NYC as a part of a big Rock Band 2 display. Haven't seen it, myself, but I'm trying to get someone to snap a photo of it."Isn't there a live webcam feed of times square somewhere on the internet that you could check. I'm sure I heard there was one somewhere. I'll google it.
EDIT: Apparently it's here, but my internet is deciding to be a pain in the ass and is running super slowly and it won't buffer, so someone else check it out. I guess it'll deppend on just how big it is whether you can see it or not.

Well, it looks like you guys are getting more and more recognition.

edit: looks like the barmaid in the hawaiian tropic zone wear only a very small top
