During this month, most of us know that if you spend 2400 points on Arcade games and DLC on Xbox Live you will be given 800 points for free at a later time in the future.  
 
I seen this deal as a great opportunity to get some DLC I've been meaning to get (everything for Mass Effect 2) and some sweet games, like Scott Pilgrim. So I got some new points, spent my remaining 1000 points on RB songs, then 800 on Scott Pilgrim, 560 on The Writer, 560 on Kasumi, 560 on Overlord, and 800 on Shadow Broker. I have 960 points left and it's gonna be awesome to check my mail someday in a couple months and have 800 more points, on top of my existing 960, waiting for me :D Borderlands DLC! (I don't want Mad Moxxi, that DLC sounds like shit, and I already have Zombie Island so I'll be getting Revolution and Secret Armory) 
 
Just a reminder! If you want 800 free points in the future this is a wicked deal and a great time to catch up on some games or DLC you might have missed.

Pretty excited about spending 1200 points on Super Meat Boy a little later this month.
 
Unsure if I'll manage to spend enough to qualify for the offer, although technically it'll be like getting a 1200 point thing for 400 points if I do... Curse you offers!

I've had my 360 since the day it came out and i haven't spent 2400 over its entire lifetime.

It's actually DLC and Arcade games only - no GoD, Avatar Items, Music, Videos etc.

Undead Nightmare -800MSP: 10/26/10
Costume Quest - 1200MSP: I know it's sometime in October.
 
I have a few friends that have held off on RDR DLC so far and their plan is to nab all three and basically get one for free.

Not yet, but I will be soon.  Gonna grab Comic Jumper, Super Meat Boy, and Costume Quest.   Then, I will probably use the 800 points to grab Monkey Island 2.

There just happens to be more than enough content I planned on getting anyway, so yay for free points.

Already got Comic Jumper and can't wait for SMB and Costume Quest, so yeah, those 800 points will be mine.

Already used around $25 on L4D and Alan Wake Dlc, and some RB songs, but still need to get RDR dlc (Undead) and Costume Quest (May get it for PS3, though)

I've spent 560 on Left 4 Dead 2's The Sacrifice and will be spending another 1200 on Costume Quest.

Got all of the DLC for Mass Effect 2 and finally bought Puzzle Quest, so I think I've passed the requirement.

Costume Quest and Super Meat boy should do it for me. 

So far i've gotten Comic Jumper, All Fronts for Gears 2 and some Dead Rising DLC.  Either Costume Quest or Super Meat Boy should be enough to bring me over.

Almost there and I'll probably  finish it out tomorrow.

Not sure if this offer is happening in the UK but I just downloaded Sonic 4 and the Lara Croft game at 1200 points each.

I think I'm going to get Undead Nightmare, Limbo, and either the Liars and Cheats pack or Dead Rising: Case Zero.

Costume quest, Super Meat Boy and maybe Shank for me.

i actually didn't know about this. though I wont be getting into it because I forgot the password to my gamertag hotmail and its been inactive for so long theres no way of me getting it back.
And I have 1 month left on my xbox live so when that's done, ill be making a new account, sure I'll lose my WaW map pack 3 I downloaded but oh well..

yup, i finally bought all the ME2 DLC, Lara Croft Guardian of light, RB2 Tracks and the Borderlands Claptrap DLC

Yup, all thanks to DLC. Bought 1,600 points of Mass Effect 2 DLC; Overlord and Stolen Memory were on sale for 400 each and got Lair of the Shadow Broker as well. Then rounded things off with Minerva's Den for BioShock 2 and then proceded to spend my 800 point boon before I've even received it and bought the latest Borderlands DLC.

so yeah, I have. I might buy Shadow Broker and/or Costume Quest and/or Sam and Max Season 2 as well this month.

I got all the Mass effect 2 DLC but the first two I don't think counts towards the deal.  Also got Lara Croft.  So I guess that and Shadow Broker is 2000 points if the first two dlc's don't count for mass effect 2 since that was a deal of the week deal.

Not yet but I'd better start thinking about it seriously.  I'll probably buy the Hydro Thunder Hurricane DLC on the 27th which means the next 800 points I spend (as long as I spend it quickly) will be 'delayed free'.

Does anyone know if Indie Games count towards the 2400 points? I've got 400 points I still need to spend having bought Super Meat Boy and Costume Quest, so I'm thinking of buying Breath of Death VII and something else.
