    Representation in games

For the most part control points are commonly expressed though a flag that would change its design to the team that captured most commonly a Red Vs Blue theme. In other games they can also be represented by a symbol or a bar being filled up to represent their progress in capturing the point.

Usage of Control points in games

Control points are used in some games to reduce enemy spawn tickets by bleeding them away ever so popularised by the Battlefield franchise. Control points may also provide an increase in resources, assets or bonuses in stats to use against the enemy.
