Which GB staff member's GOTY list is most similar to your's

Jeff picked the same top two a's I did, so I'm going with hi's li'st.

None of them :( Nobody was digging Metro!

Drew and Vinny both had six of the same games I did. Brad had seven of the same games. Drew's top three are the same as my top three though, so maybe he pulls ahead a bit.

BioShock, Zelda and TLOU are my top three for the year, and I also liked DmC, Gone Home, and AC4. So I'm going to go with Vinny.

None of them.

I guess Vinny, which means I'm slowly becoming the perfect human being.

Drew and I have 1 game in common and Brad and I have 1 game in common. That's it.

Alex, because he put Last of Us first. Also he said Civ V: Brave New World almost made his list and it was on my personal list at #3. Also, I think Alex and I were the only ones on the website (and maybe in the whole world) who put Portal 2 as their GOTY in 2011.

Drew and Patrick. But we only have 5 games in common, so none of them really.

In my word document full of games I've beaten this year, five of them currently have a star next to them, indicating that they will definitely make my list. Everyone's list has 3 of these 5 games, except for Jeff's who only has 1. Drew's 3 are the top 3, so I'll say Drew.

Looking at the other games in my list is scary, this is going to be a tough year to cut. I haven't even beat The Swapper or Guacamelee yet.

None really because they all seem to hate Tomb Raider.

I only have one from a few (Papers Please and Antichamber) but Patrick has PP closer than anyone has anything else so him.

It's sorta sad, but in none of those lists are there more than 1 game in the top 5 that I would put in my top 10 (and only 2 of the complete lists have 2 games I'd rank top 10). It really just shows exactly why my interest in the guys opinion has waned through this year, I just don't share their taste in games at all.

Alex and I have 3 games in common. Ken Levine is the closest in spirit because he actually has strategy games on his list and my top 5 is nothing but strategy.

None. The only game that would make my top 10 would probably be The Last of Us.

I'm not surprised though, nor care that much. I've long accepted that the Giantbomb crew (or the gaming media as a whole) does not share my interest In games.

Well, 4 out of Drews top five are in my top 5, so I'll go with him. Tomb Raider is the one missing.

my nemesis this year was jeff

My tastes have usually always fallen somewhere around Vinny's. This year I suppose I'm somewhere between Vinny and Alex.

I tried to make a top 10 for this year. I was only able to make a top 4. Of those top 4, my highest and lowest pick did not make anyone's list (Tomb Raider and Marvel Heroes). Of the remaining two (Infinite and SRIV) Jeff picked them most highly. So Jeff, I guess.

This was really the first year where not playing many indie games and not having a Playstation or Nintendo device really kept me out of having a worthwhile opinion about the Game of the Year.

Alex. Jeff's list is the first time I disagreed with the quality of basically every game on the list (except Rogue Legacy, that was pretty great). Obviously it's his opinion and that's the point of the personal Top 10s, but man!

Alex and Brad both had two games that were also on my list. However since Alex actually put a game as his number one I voted for him.

Brad. Which is funny because that tends to be the case for me.

Brad's is the closest to mine mathematically.

Vinny's is probably the closest to mine in spirit.

This year I became more interested in seeing gameplay and mechanics over story. It's why I haven't necessarily got down with The Last of Us because while everyone is right to talk about the story and graphics and the more overtly artisanal elements, it's not really breaking any gameplay molds. They made a light scavenging game in a year when I want statistical variances in the bandages I'm finding. They made a stealth patrol puzzle game in a year where I want the control and flexibility you find in Mark of the Ninja. Just has not connected.

None of them. Bioshock: Infinite and Gone Home are a mainstay on almost all of the lists (besides Jeff's, he didn't list Gone Home) and I intensely disliked both of those games. Good on Jeff for listing Metal Gear Rising - that game is fucking great.

Probably El Jefe. Not everything matches up cause I didn't play everything but it's the closest I'd imagine. Or Brads except replacing that DoTA junk with LoL.

I don't agree with any of their lists. None of the Giant Bomb guys share the same tastes with me.

I'm going to say Jeff but honestly I feel like the closest to my list was the collective list.

I share 4 games with Alex, so he is closest one of them.

Jeff... somehow. 5 of his top 10 are on my list and I totally agree with him on Bioshock Infinite and Rogue Legacy.

But Antichamber? That's where we disagree.

Patrick's. Because his list ended up having an astonishingly high number of overlap with my current Game of the Year list as compared to all the rest of the staff.

That high number? 2. Two whole games.

Vinny's except Zelda on Top. Otherwise it is a pretty good list^^

I guess the closest is Vinny's because I have five that are also on his list.

In terms of most games, I have to pick Vinny. Gone Home, Saints Row IV, GTA V, The Stanley Parable. But honorable mention to Drew for F1 2013!

Basically I played a lot of racing games and didn't play The Last of Us, Bioshock Infinite, Brothers, or any of the Nintendo games, so there was bound to be a lot of differences. But I'm super stoked that most of them had Gone Home in there.

If i place them in order it would be

Not surprising at all to have Patrick last, he and i couldn't be further apart in what we like and dislike.

I never thought I'd say this, but Alex is the most similar to mine. And the few that aren't on my list could probably have made it onto my list if I had the time to play them.

Apparently Brad's, who had 6 of my top 10. Which is weird because of the staff I seemed to have the most similar tastes to Patrick.

Vinny, I guess, if only because he's the only one that had both my gotys on his list (GTA and TLoU).

metal gear rising isn't even in any of those lists, not even injustice, steam world dig, don't starve or guacamelee. I DON'T KNOW THESE GUYS!!!!
