Killzone 2
Killzone 2 is an amazing breathtaking game, but without its charm can the gameplay hold up?
Killzone 2 doesnt really fill you in with the story at all, if you didnt played the first one already which doesnt help to make it more unique than other FPS out there. You play as Sev a sergeant that was sent to Visari to capture the Helghast Leaders. You play most of the game going level to level with so much action that it doesnt focus on the story to much or the character development.
The game does look fantastic, but come with the cost of load times which froze my screen for a few seconds through out the levels, which i thought at first it was my PS3, but indeed it was Killzone 2 rendering the amazing graphics. The game play was very Fps like you shoot and you move to next stage, but Guerilla has added a weight system that suppose to make it more fluid and realistic when you are carrying a 8 pounds gun and a heavy suit. The weight system just make you X axis and Y axis turn more slowly , but what contradict me with that is how long the character could actually sprints.
Killzone 2 Mulit player is solid and could compete with any Shooter out of the market today. The game multiplayer contain you in a huge map with gorgeous grahic and a lively community. You can either play as Helghast or ISa on the mulitplayer portion which is solely class base.By ranking you unlock badge and unlock more weapon along the way. I felt there is not enough weapon and equipment to keep my interest in the multiplayer for long.
All in all Killzone 2 is a good game with a variety things for your money , but the single was fun thought really lacking the story aspect I was looking for to make Killzone 2 unique from all of the military shooters.
