    More then just a fan

With Marvel Vs Capcom 2 has been in my opinion on of the most played fighting games for crazy combos and hey watching Ryu and Wolverine fight is just awesome but on the competitive side it seemed like only a few characters got the spot light because of the infamous tier system. Marvel vs Capcom 3 has come out and there are some blaring things wrong with it. 1 mission mode, usually it's easy to do the first 2-3 but after that I was spending a lot of time trying to figure out what they wanted me to do. And as I try i felt like how will this help me at all? 2 Spectator mode, or more lack of spectator mode. I know it's a simple patch but they should have it ready and shipped. But I think this is going to be my favorite fighting game of all time till MVC4 comes out lol. The movement is great being a former MVC2 player it doesn't seem to bind up at least against computers or Non-laggy players. The new button setup has made friends I play with that can't seem to work mvc2 controls into much better challenges then before. Now I actually have to try against them! And foremost the characters. The characters play-styles are rather diverse, In MVC 2 they had several characters that were just duplicates and some weren't so well hidden aka Boneclaw Wolverine.... Even characters with similar ideas like Deadpool and Dante both using a lot of range attacks and sword melee felt very different and required different styles of play.  I would have given this game a complete 5 stars, but truthfully I knew that non-fighter fans or even some casual fighter fans would not get into the competitive aspect of the game and the singleplayer isn't strong enough to stand alone.

      Marvelous, but overwhelming 0

Marvel VS Capcom fans have been waiting for this game for 10 years, and will be immediately familiar with all of its systems and feel right at home. But what about the newcomers such as myself?  The last time I touched a fighting game was a year (Maybe two?) back at original SFIV, and my god being used to Street Fighter pace did NOT help. If you are completely new to this series or don't know what the fighting system is like, you'll have to go into the Training mode and basically just get a feel...

      A Decade of Hype 0

With its bright flashing colors, screen filling super moves, overwhelmingly loud sounds and infamous gigantic roster of characters, it's easy to see why Marvel vs. Capcom 2 remained a popular "money match" game for over a decade; the arcade cabinet might as well have been a giant fighting game slot machine. For some people, Capcom's decision to tone some of this insanity down a notch sounded like heresy. Ten less characters? A simpler control scheme? Are the people at Capcom complete, to quote G...
