Object used to make up a skeleton or skeletal frame.
Crystals come in many varieties, although typically they're somehow magical in games. Especially central to the Final Fantasy franchise.
Object consists of a Drill bit that is spun but either Human or motorized power to create a perforation in another object. You know the drill.
The energy force shield is a common element found in science fiction. By encasing an object in a bubble of energy, whether it be a single person or an entire city, the object is protected from its environment. Some energy shields deflect projectiles, lasers and radiation, or anything conceivable.
An explosive is any weapon or device designed to cause an explosion, whether it be a frag grenade, TNT, or a nuclear bomb.
Whether it's a regular piece of colored fabric or the high-tech keystone of a base's defenses, the flag is the most important asset a team can have and the most precious thing the opposing team can steal. It is also used for racing games.
A motion transmitter found in various machinery.
A grapple is a device, usually thrown or shot, that allows a game character to 'hook' onto objects within the game, with the purpose of climbing or scaling.
A homing missile is a missile that locks on to and follows its target. Homing missiles are featured in lots of games, from old school to new school.
A giant rectangular (usually a square or cube) piece of ice. They can be walked across or pushed around.
Frozen water that can be a hazard to the player or used as a weapon.
A laser is a focused beam of light, invisible through the air without some other medium (such as smoke) to illuminate it. Lasers are often used in video games as part of a targeting system, or as an offensive weapon in their own right.
Lava is molten rock, usually from the interior of a planet, and in games is often used as a hazard to players, or as a visible gameplay-area boundary.
A magnet is something, usually in a bar or horseshoe shape, that is attracted to and can, if strong enough, pull in metallic things via the force of magnetism. Video games may be a bit more liberal in what a magnet can attract and how powerful it is.
Reflects light.
An explosive ordinance propelled by a rocket engine designed to blow an object to smithereens. A missile is often guided, in some way, to its target. For example; by laser, remote control, or computer/GPS.
A tube or hollow cylinder for the conveyance of fluid, gas, and sometimes other materials.
A spaceship is a vehicle capable of traversing the vacuum of space.
Even though water in games tends to bring about death, we all still hold it near and dear to us. After all, the human body is comprised mostly of it.
