I am thinking of starting the Witcher 3. It’s (i’m guessing) completely different thematically but it might scratch the detailed world exploration itch and probably shares some of the DNA of Cyberpunk.
I like the Deus Ex suggestions though, I might have a look at the original again, it’s been a while!
The only time I did it was in Euro Truck Simulator where part of the experience is listening to the radio while driving. In most other cases, I feel like I would be tainting the intended experience.
I dunno, the moment I think about the gameplay cycle a bit in games like this (increased player stats - increased enemy stats) I immediately loose interest and it happened on this one as well unfortunately. What’s the point of getting better gear when the result is always the same? It’s just so stable, there are no peaks and valleys but I see the turn-off-brain appeal of it. This is clearly a very well crafted game so I know this is a personal thing.
@djredbat: To me it is an issue because, assuming you truly need an extra hard drive, the manufacturer is selling you a product at a price that sounds reasonable knowing that you will most likely have to spend more money in the future to
complete the experience. It is disingenuous for any added cost no matter how small (like memory sticks for the Switch for example), it just adds to the total cost of a product that should feel complete from the get go. As per your example, they are actually selling you the $1000 console at the moment so complaining seems
You can try Gamemaker for a month I think, might be an alternative. It’s a relatively simple development tool although I don’t know how it compares to RPG Maker. Tom Francis (of Gunpoint and Heat Signature fame) did some great tutorials to get people going.
I do too! I found that system to remember names that works for me is to think of an object that sounds like the name and picture it in your head when you introduce yourself (Anna and banana for example). The problem is that you need to remember to use the system...
