Grim Dawn would be my favourite ARPG if my nostalgia for Diablo 2 didn't get in the way. Been waiting for this expansion to come out for a while now so consider me hyped. I just beat ultimate difficulty recently on my absolutely crappy Spellbreaker build (I did not plan it out at all and used no guides). Probably have to go back down to elite for this one since I get wrecked on ultimate in the first expansion.

Are we tired of all this positive competition yet? If one of my friends didn't already buy it for me on Steam it would have been a lost sale. I won't reward these business practices.

I've been craving a new looter shooter because I don't like Destiny 2's endgame so was cautiously optimistic about Anthem. Unfortunately on top of the technical issues there are some iffy design choices that have put me back into waiting until after release to buy it. I cancelled my pre-order for now. Bioware and EA can still win me over because I still like the general feel of flying around and shooting but I can't drop $80 CAD and hope that launch is any better.

I actually don't remember the specific details of finding Giantbomb (Probably because it was boring) but I found this site around 2009-2010 when I was still posting a lot on the Escapist forums. It was a probably a thread on there discussing Giantbomb that made me aware of its existence. By 2011 I was getting tired of that community so started looking for new forums to post on and remembered this one so decided to make an account.

@little_gil: Blue Dragon?

As a Canadian if game prices go up in the US I'd be priced out of the hobby entirely. Canadians are already paying $90 after tax for new games.

Even if game prices did go up I doubt that DLC's and microtransactions would go away which I feel a lot of people fail to realize.

@liquiddragon: Been playing it on Switch and haven't had any major issues with it so far. Some fps dips in busier areas but solid overall. Only really noticeable performance issues are on the overworld map where it feels like it dips to below 30, doesn't personally bother me but it's definitely sluggish. I think the portability is worth the tradeoffs.

Still one of my favourite games and definitely the best Tales Of game.

@turboman: Yep, RE5 just isn't designed for solo play and it's a damn shame because I think it's a good game despite being one of the weaker games in the series.

Huge news. Hopefully this means good things for Destiny in the future.

Sheva from Resident Evil 5. I gave up my second playthrough of that game not too long ago because she kept dying to a boss 5 seconds after it loaded.
