I interviewed for them a few months ago. In the course of the interview they mentioned that they were planning on launching about 100 new "shows" over the coming year. It sounded really crazy desperate.

I typically go laughs-per-minute, which is weird because something like The Room which is considered a classic ranks pretty low on that scale. I guess you also have to account for the absurdity of the movie as well.

I think there's a big imbalance of what's shown before the page fold and what's after, too little up front. Also I think that choosing to use really large imagery doesn't really lend itself well to dynamic content. Typically if you come across a website that has an image that takes up most of the page, that image would be some kind of meticulously hand picked stock image because it's clear crisp and sharp. Compare that to what's up there now which is an uprezzed image of a goosebumps game that wasn't very pretty looking to being with.

I could live with the second issue, I think the lack of quantity of content on the frontpage is more pressing though.

Aging and wear and tear on your body most likely to be a major component of the gameplay. The interviewer on Playstation's thing when talking to Kojima was under the impression that you would be playing as people other than Sam (Norman Reedus) but Kojima said that wasn't the case. I think the interviewer was noticing some shots of the player model looking different than how Norman Reedus has been portrayed overall for the game. Given that they did a really good job of de-aging Jamie Sommers' model, I think a younger Norman Reedus or two isn't out of the question. As for wear and tear on the body, I don't think that impromptu toenail removal was just for the sake of visceral-ness for the trailer. Pushing yourself too hard is likely going to have some gameplay effect.

Them's my thoughts. I hope they advance the real tactile movement feel of MGSV, given that this game looks like it's going to have a lot of traversal.

I noticed this issue is a result of a url having it's (#) symbol removed once it loads. Typically the URL would be (https://www.giantbomb.com/e3-2018/3015-9042/forums/the-official-ubisoft-thread-1835429/#2) but once you load it the hashtag symbol gets removed, then if you copy the url from your browser it's no longer the original url and it riggity wrecks itself before it checks itself.
