I message her on twitter occasionally. She was down at Disney for her annual Disney birthday trip. Really punishing to know that Ryan can't take her anymore.
I think we are locked into a phase of iteration and not forklift upgrading much anymore. People hate to abandon their hardware and games and accessories that they spent thousands of dollars on.
I have a NeoGeo MVS cab. It is kinda the ultimate arcade machine if you are going to only own one. Every few months I pick up a new cart with marquee art and make it something new. It is the Swiss Army knife of arcade units.
I cleaned out my backlog of quite a few games last year. In 2016 I finished some absolutely amazing old games. I played through all the Souls games and Bloodborne. I also played Last of Us, Alien Isolation, Life is Strange, and The Beginner's Guide. So, this year I might sit down and finally beat the new Deus Ex games.
I have a limited edition numbered Bioshock 1 faceplate for a 360 that were given to Gamestop managers. It is in a cool box and there are only 5,000 of them in the world so it is weird and kinda rare.
I think it looks and plays fantastically. It also has a murderers row of content, modes, options, customization, and couch co-op. I couldn't disagree with the OP more. Gears 4 might give Doom a good fight for my GOTY.
