Something about this test feels like bollocks.

EDIT: Rather, I should say that something smells fishy about it to me. I don't know what.

Testicular cancer. I didn't want them cut off, I would lose my balance or something like that! Got cured in the end though so it's both the best and worst all in one package(that wasn't a pun)

You had testicular cancer and was worried about, um, losing you balance? I guess balance is more practical, but I would have been concerned over something else.

On topic, my story got worse and worse over five years. My parents bought a house that they could barely afford with their income then. But oh, it was a grand house! For us, anyway. It began as my parents' - more my mom's, but my dad enjoyed it too - pride and joy, but the bills quickly began to press in on them. After a long layoff for my dad and living on almost nothing (and spending what little extra we did have), the house was foreclosed on and the shit that had been building up for five years hit the fan, and hit it hard. As an 8th grader, that was traumatizing. Luckily, by that time I was good enough at hiding all my emotions from anyone that I didn't show how much I hated that one event and hated my parent's stupid fucking money decisions. Oh, and the house was foreclosed on New Year's Day. Right after Christmas. So, yeah, I spent all of January enduring my parents yelling at each other and moving furniture.

That was the first day of 2006. Today, that's all over. My parents are still together, financially stable, in a decent house, and sometime in the next few years I'm going to be out of here. Still, something like that doesn't just happen and then go away.

It was always weird to learn about half-life in my science classes.

That one. I don't think there are any others, and I certainly don't blurt things out at random about it.

The word "Amplitude" reminds me of video games for some reason. I think it was the name of an old game but I don't know.

All I need to do is get some pecs

You make it sound so easy. Very few men are actually built like that, and a huge part of it is genetics and not how much you work it. Not saying that it's impossible to pull off, but it is very, very difficult and takes years of hard work and strict dieting.

I did have some pecs going on before I broke my wrist and became extremely depressed, however I am getting them back again.

Also, you know what, this is also something I need to say to people who want to lose weight. Stop eating crap that tastes good because there is healthy crap that tastes good as well! Stop drinking Soda because it is death in a can and only drink tap water from Montana/a spring near you.

Seriously, I don't get how people think losing weight is a big deal honestly... no really I honestly do not get it in the slightest sense, it is insanely easy, all it take is some damn awareness that you are a fat bastard and you need to stop eating crap and start eating/drinking healthy stuff! That damn simple!

I can say this with personal expierence, those who give up losing weight because 'it is to hard' are weak willed. Hell, I even stopped chewing my damn finger nails too just by wanting to! It is pretty damn simple people!

Edit: err... sorry about the rant... just saying from my own personal health expierences...

Simply put, it isn't that easy for most people. Many things can contribute to weight and the difficulty in losing it. For one, many things sold (in America) have something called "high fructose corn syrup" in them, which contributes to spreading the hips. Of course, why not just buy stuff that doesn't have that in it? Well, because 1) almost anything you can find that isn't fresh meat or fruit/vegetables has that in it and 2) many of the things that don't are more expensive than regular foods. Believe it or not, eating healthy is both more expensive and more time consuming than just eating what's quick, easy, and cheap. You can call people that are looking for an easy meal "weak-willed" if you want, but remember that working for 8 hours a day in a job you really, really don't like is difficult and stressful. Taking the extra energy to get up and find something healthy to eat is far harder than you can even imagine, and then some people just plain can't afford it so they eat what's cheapest and not what's healthiest.

And don't fucking tell me you've been there. If you had, you wouldn't have written it off so easily.

What about exercise, you say? Well, that comes back around to stress and having very little energy left at the end of the day. It's hard to muster that energy up. Certainly the best way to get more energy is to start exercising, but here we come back around to how difficult that is in the first place.

Losing weight is like being stuck between a rock and a hard place and the only way out is through a tiny hole at the top. It's possible to get there, but it takes a level of willpower that Simon would be jealous of. Don't go writing off those that don't as weak willed or lazy; doing so is rather ignorant and short-sighted.

Actually, I have been there. I was a 200 pound ten year old once... I was a fat little guy and you know what, I said **** it and decided to start eating healthy and stuff.

Boom. That simple, all it takes is the actual effort of actually doing it. Otherwise you must be horribly lazy/weak willed person.

I got down from 200 to 150 due to how tall I am I actually look skinny now. It is easy to exercising is doing it for a purpose. Like chopping wood, you can see your progress very easily with that and it beefs your arms up to inhuman levels. I had also been a fingernail chewer for a while until I was 12. I stopped that within a week and I have never done it again. This was all when I was a kid!

Also, DRINK WATER ONLY. It can literally counteract any amount of crap you can put in your body. Well maybe not all, but certainly most of the crap you put in like salt or fructose corn syrup is definatly gonna pass right through ya.

Oh, and awesome Gurren Lagann reference man.

But you were only ten years old, a small bundle of stress free energy. Try losing even 30 pounds as a person with a real job and real worries - that's what I was getting at. The effort of doing some of those things can be tremendous for a large percentage of the people that could do well with some weight loss.

Is the game fun to play and/or entertaining? Then it rocks! Otherwise it sucks.

I click that big "Forums" button at the top right of everyone's screen, look through it, click it again, look through it, check messages, see if there are any halfway interesting threads that I can find, post something in the one or two threads I can come up with a decent response to, sigh heavily, complain about how boring my life is, stare at my shelf of Xbox games trying to decide which one I want to play, switch to the school essay that I'm supposed to be completing, work on it for five minutes, check my Facebook, contemplate making good on working out for once, rinse, repeat.

Also, every five times on average I go get a soft drink.

@VodkaMedia: Do you recommend ME3? Is the story as awesome as the rest of the series because you actually seem like one of the few sane ME fans in existence.

Screwball: I like ME1. I didn't love it. I liked ME2 much better, but still didn't love it. Thus far, ME3 seems a little better than ME2 in terms of... well, everything. Main story, writing, gameplay, conversations, systems, RPG elements, guns, etc. ME1 was also the first Bioware game I ever owned.

If you're not a raving Bioware fanboy and you played and enjoyed the first two, you'll enjoy 3. Should, anyway. I guess the fanboys just want Bioware to alternate remaking Baldur's Gate 2 and KOTOR again and again and again and again...
