At least it's quite a lengthy trial. Though I dispute the usage of the word "free" since I've paid at least a couple hundred bucks over the years for my membership.
This was ending to my friends first game EVER. We landed and just talked him through the controls. He had the mouse not controlling camera bug for the parachute and the entire first group of buildings we did. Fixed that, sorted him out with some basic loot and just his luck the final zone was going to be on the military island. we got a car headed to the west bridge and as predicted there was a roadblock of cars, screw that!. We drove down the beach, past the first boat went for the 2nd one thinking it might be far enough away. It wasnt we got into the boat taking fire, lost one friend as we left, but 3 of us made it to the island myself being on 10% hp and only 5 bandages!. Screw it lets show him the game, onwards we went. no engagements, zone getting smaller had to move further in.
At this point I had a silenced AKM with red dot and a shotgun. New friend had AKM with holo and ump. My other bold friend was rocking the ultimate long range attire. MICRO UZI 9MM and a shotgun, onwards into the gun sounds we ran. Our first engagement, uzi boy ran up got right to the tree before they spotted him and took 2 of them out. I managed to knock one down quickly but my aim did not hold true and the 2nd took some dumping, but we got through. Loot time and hello 1 whole first aid bag each, such mana from the gods. And whats this we see a carepackage 50 metres away, tis too kind... well a Kar with no scope will have to do.
Then the fun started. Pushing up a hill we hear mutliple squads fighting just over the ridge and get the ultimate kill in the game. This guy died with 2 8x scopes and a 4x, an AWM. Level 3 bag, helm, first aid, boosts. TRUELY A GIFT! We then managed to move up the hill my friend with the kar and 8x got his 2 kills and I got 4 more kills with that beast of a sniper. The final 2 kills I saw my friend on 20% hp moving towards them as the blue past me. I called it stopped, scopped up knocked one down, final guy firing at my friend we both opened up I must of only winged him as friend got that final sweat shot. And we went from a game that we expected to just die in to chicken dinner. What a rush.
I should note this was probably my 20th or more win at this point, but still a great feeling. Love this game!
