So far so good. I've always enjoyed South Park, besides some of it's ups and downs, so it's still fine to me. I like that it isn't doing another entire storyline season while keeping the continuity between episodes of anything that did go on. Garrison as the president, Cartmans girlfriend, that principle guy, etc.

I think they have some of the best side characters on t.v. Butters, Tweak, Timmy, etc, so a Tweak focused episode was a joy. The season will still be going when the game comes out, so I'm looking forward if they tie them together or not.

When the first game came out, they tied the season into that at the very very end by having Cartman pick up the stick, so I wonder if the episode before the game launches will do that again or not.

Also the gag at the end of episode 2 with Kenny was great. Just having him be one of the kids who died off screen, no big deal out of it, no reference to 'member when we used to kill him off all the time?' Just, yeah, he died off screen, of course he would have.

I can't unsee the neck now, even the head looks too big. It looks like all of it is fake, but then they sort of lazily slapped her real head onto it.

@nodeath: And that only makes it worse! Now I'm just gonna think of giraffe Lara whenever I see this poster!

As another Canadian, toque.

Also if they did one and the little pompom/fluffy bit on top was the smiling Giant Bomb logo itself, that would be the best and I would purchase one very quickidly.

Generic action movie based on generic action game storyline.

The call backs look amusing seeing as how some video game movies would almost rather you forget the source material. Animus? What Animus? He's hooked up to a giant claw machine! Claw machine I tell you!

So yeah, it's not going to be ground breaking, the CGI is a bit too showy at times, it could be worth a bit of fun though, I watched all of the Resident Evil movies on purpose, so I'll probably watch this at some point sure why not.

Spoilers: The good guys win and the bad guys lose and the ending shot will be a big wink and nod at the audience while at the same time going 'you want another one riiiiiight?' before it hard cuts to black and some generic rock song leads the credits that are flying at the screen.

You've been in space, you've been under the water, you've been in the air, this summer get ready to enter a city... on the laaaaaaaaaaaand!

Part of Bioshocks allure to me was how fresh it was. I don't really need another one at this point, but I'm with @hermes on this one, the spirit of these types of games is something I want to continue, a different name, a different game, cover different philosophies/religious tones/political vibes, be your own thing, but have the 'soul' of what makes these types of games great.

I wouldn't turn my nose up at a new one, but I get more excited for newness.

As far as I'm concerned there's only ever been two good raids: The Raid and The Raid 2.

John Wick was a pretty good The Raid I thought.

I heard a lot about it, then I saw the GB guys play it and that really sold me.

I've always been a fan of 1 life modes in games, but I hardly register multiplayer games anymore, they just aren't on my radar as much, so between the GB guys showing it, and me seeing that it's a massive scale 1 life mode I was pretty sold.

When they stop making good games/games I'm interested in.

Same, I understand that sometimes people are put off by statements of game developers, or tactics used by them (mirco-transactions, aggressive pre-orders, etc.)
But all that really gets to me is if their games are good (to me) anymore. If yes, play, if no, do not play.

If we could suddenly see the true thoughts and behaviour of people behind the entertainment we like in every field of entertainment, there would be so many things you like that are created by someone, in part, who you just would not like. It's just not worth it to me to die on this hill. This is a fun hill of fun where games are fun and I enjoy having fun with them.

I would stop under extreme circumstances though, like "For every copy sold, we whip an employee and eat a puppy."

How much for the publishing rights to this epic saga?

As Matthew Rories unbeknownst totally official manager, he'll take no less than 12 pups in exchange for the rights, and I'm talking premium pups, not one should be unchompable.

@zolroyce: Ok cool thanks for that explanation - also isn't there something about someone being in love with Ned's sister and causing a war because of it, wasn't that Robert? The earlier parts of GoT were definitely a lot more interesting because of the political dealings but then they took a hiatus from that and seemed to never come back to it apart from these stingers every once in a while.

No problem, honestly if it wasn't for internet theories all over the place I wouldn't have caught that either. The fans have taught me more about some of the plots than the show has.

But anyways, yes you are right, Robert was supposed to be with Neds sister, but then this whole other marriage happened. I don't have any way to check, but I think there was a scene in season one between Robert and Ned where they talk about this together and Robert seems sad about what happened, so for whatever reason I guess it was a big secret to pretty much everyone that she willingly married this other guy.
So I think when Bran says Roberts rebellion was based on a lie, the lie was that Neds sister was kidnapped by this guy, when it was about them being in love in actuality, don't know why it had to be a big secret, I guess the Mad king was murder happy and breaking vows is a big deal in that world if the red wedding taught us anything.
