I subscribed to GamePro magazine in the mid 90s when I was a kid. For almost 30 years I've had a mental image of a game I saw in that magazine that looked really cool that I never got to play. I have never been able to figure out what game it was. For the first time in my life I've had a flash of recognition for that game.

I believe the game was Dirty Larry: Renegade Cop.

To each their own. ;) As someone who hasn't touched WoW in any form since...2006? The look back on WoW Classic was fascinating. And I love any Jeff + Retro-games content.

@dasakamov: Yah I certainly don't begrudge anyone else for liking it but I'm kind of the opposite of Brad, where if anything I distance myself from the past as much as possible. I lived through those crappy games in my childhood and seeing how much better even "bad" games of today are compared to some of the utter trash of my childhood doesn't make me want to go back to it in any way. I feel like 90% of Jeffs Mister streams is him going "yah this isn't great.."

The fact that Jeff HAD all the chips he needed on that one level of Chip's Challenge drove me crazy. Pretty good show this week, though I did kinda zone out during the WoW stuff. WoW will never be for me, but glad other people like it.

@humanity: same, its nice occasionally watching them enjoy old stuff but goddamn, i couldn't possibly care less about either.

How is EQ alive? I thought they shut down the servers because a bunch of people got on there and had a party.

WoW is the best museum / walking simulator. Everyone complaining about the bad textures or modelling is why I love it. There’s just so much unique looking stuff to look at.

Every time Rorie talks about WoW and mentions how annoyed he is at the real world references it blows my mind because Vanilla WoW is COMPLETELY FILLED with real world pop culture references.

Don't know why people keep saying Classic in these comments - that was regular Retail WoW. They discussed Vanilla, sure, but it was not Classic.
