Phil Spencer is always a great guest. I feel like I 'get' the platform and their pitch after his chats with Jeff in a way that I don't purely from the press conference. I mean, that's probably why he does these every year but it adds a dimension that is sorely missing from the press conference and brief interviews and hot takes on Twitter.

Doesn't make me want to buy an X any more or less than before but I understand its intended position in the market.

Look forward to watching the rest of this - kicking off at 2AM on a weekday in the UK is not ideal for watching the show live.

Phil Spencer comes across a good bloke. Definitely the realest of the console company representatives and I appreciate his consistent positivity and willingness to speak in positive ways about MS's competitors (and the games industry in general). I have a massively improved view of the Xbox brand compared to a few years back.

That Phil segment was brilliant, Jeff is really good with one on ones.

@jeff's chats with Phil Spencer are genuinely the highlight of E3 for me now. They're so refreshingly relaxed, open, interesting, and free of marketing spiel.

Same here! I've only seen Drew on the thumbnail and I'm already excited to watch this one!

Also, I'm happy they got Phill Spencer again. I don't play on Xbox nor on PC, but he seems to be a cool guy and the conversations he and Jeff have are always interesting.

This was the greatest night in the history of our sport.

For about 5 years, every time I saw Shawn Layden from Sony, I expected him to have an English accent. That dude is the most English looking motherfucker who isn't English.

It is scientifically impossible for Giant Bomb to ever have an E3 night better than this.

Phil was fantastic as always in expressing his vision of where he's trying to go with Xbox, and even responded to that "keeping players safe" Sony bullshit without being a prick.

WWE + Alt/Shift F1 segment might have been the most fun interview segment I've ever seen on this website.

Lorne + Tim provided some rad old school stories.

We now know who PlayerUnknown is (and had a FIRE PRO WRESTLING GUEST to boot).

The Ex-GB Waypoint guys + Polygon Bros segment was the funniest thing we'll get all year. I was half expecting that at the end of that segment they'd announce that Patrick and Austin were coming back to start Giant Bomb 3 out of the Midwest with the Mcelroys. The "m" in Bomb would have been a sideways 3.

I know we're getting the Langzone Comedy Hour tonight, but it's going to be hard for ANYTHING to come even close to what we got in this video.

Phil Spencer is an excellent ambassador for Xbox, makes me want to buy one. I won't, I only play on Playstation, but he's doing an excellent job nonetheless.

Samoa Joe seems to be a real sweetheart and his Irish impressions were hilarious.

Phil has done so much good the Xbox brand and he just keeps on cutting through the bs. Keep it up!
