Did something change about the video player in the last couple of weeks?

The progressive HD option keeps dropping the video loading at certain points and has to be started all over, especially noticeable on bigger videos, never had that problem before.

@asiwassaying: i think the whole thing is that besides metroid for a long time castlevania was the only other game popularizing that kind of gameplay. i think it deserves recognition for that even if it is mostly standing on the shoulders of giants.

still don't think there's enough metroidvanias tbph.

Guys, WD-40 is not a lubricant!

WD-40 is water displacement formula 40. Itʼs a penetrating oil used to loosen stuck hinges, nuts, bolts etc.

Once loosened, you should clean it off and use an appropriate lubricant.

If you just use WD-40 on its own, expect things to start sticking again after a while.

Avoid lubricating sprays unless it is your only option. The application doesnʼt last, and they are a lot more likely to cause damage. Many lubricants are not plastic-safe when used as a spray.

I would suggest a silicone lubricant or lithium grease for a controller.

I tend to prefer white lithium grease as it is easier to apply, and the application is longer-lasting in my experience. I'm not sure if it is electrically conductive or not though, so you may want to be careful in your application.

Cosmic Fantasy 2 ... the only thing that needs to be mentioned when speaking of TurboGraphX .

@jynxdaddy: We've already seen him play through Castlevania up to Drac 3 times now. The only thing anyone cared about seeing was the final fight. Better to have new content instead of rewatching the same thing for a 4th time.

The future of video content. From now on all videos should be double features. One game at a time no longer satisfies me.

For squeaky controller bits: small dab of vegetable oil or petroleum jelly should do you fine. don't use anything industrial like wd-40 lest you get some on your fingers and then rub your eyes.

Man I really like the shirt Jeff's wearing in this video but don't recognise the logo/game.

Any ideas?

@shiny_llama: I realize I'm responding to a really old comment, but since I just recently happened to buy a cap from the company that made that shirt and thought this to be a funny coincidence, why not.

The company's name is Mishka NYC here's the website: https://mishkanyc.com/

I can't believe that during the whole time they played China Warrior nobody mentioned the China Warrior's tiny-ass ankles. It cannot be unseen! (笑)

I'm new to VinnyVania. Does he ever learn to use sub-weapons?
