best fighting game of the year
I love tekken the best of any fighting game and tekken 6 is no different.
The Graphics
The graphics are great all the characters look very good and are highly detailed. All besides Paul, his face looks really off to me at least. Some people say the graphics look better with motion blur off, but I say the game looks great either way.A few of the characters have 3rd costumes that were made by famous manga/anime artists. My favorite is easily jin's third costume that was designed by the folks at CLAMP.
MODES
You can play online ranked and unranked matches. Most people say the online is completely broken but I've played over 40 online matches and only one of them have had any noticeable lag at all. I honestly think I'm going crazy because why is the online working perfectly for me and the people I'm playing with and there is so many people saying they can even play online.
Then you have all standard offline modes arcade, team battle, survival, practice, ghost battle and VS.
Lastly there is Scenario Campaign mode, it tells the story of new fighter lars alexanderson. The mode it's self plays like a side scrolling beat-em up but in 3-D not side scrolling. There is over 40 levels of beat-em up goodness and you can play as any fighter you want not just Lars. I really like playing Scenario Campaign it actually gives you someing more than just fighting to do in the game thus makeing it in my opiton actually worth the $60 price tag. Unfortunately I'm the only one that thinks The Scenario Campaign is fun.
In The End
I think tekken 6 is the best fighting game of the year. If you like tekken you'll either think that too or hate it because of the Scenario Campaign.
