The addition of slams and the Garfieldian comedy stylings of Not Jim Davis was an excellent addition to this feature. Really amps up the stakes when you know Jeff is going to get roasted so viciously that things around the office will be tense for weeks afterward and Jeff eventually snaps and breaks out the Heathcliff branded slams and suddenly it's the most wild game of the dozens ever recorded.

Just a shout out to Jan and Ben who's combination of graphic overlays and bad Garfield jokes made this stream a joy to watch. Also props to Jeff and Brad for enduring the wonders of Garfield: Saving Arlene!

Speak for yourself, I'd take a video of just Jan dicking around with transitions.

I like that this video is listed as "Garfield with Gerstmann 04", as if to imply that there could be as many 99 Garfield with Gerstmanns.

I hate the graphics with a passion. I would actually like to watch them play video games on this video game site. Doing them every once in a great while to accentuate a joke would be fine, but every few minutes is incredibly annoying and offputting, especially when it’s done to the point that it is covering up the action on the screen.

A cursory glance on Wikipedia has a whole ton of trash Garfield games to try: Garfield: Caught in the ActandGarfield: Big Fat Hairy Dealsound especially bad good.

I like the graphics, but they need some dumb audio cues.

When I saw the slam graphic I laughed for a good 5 minutes straight so yes on the graphics. Jan is becoming one of my favs.

The only very very minor critique I have of Jan's graphics (and I do love them very very much) is I wished the "SLAMMED" graphic didn't cover everyones' faces. I would like to see the anguish on Jeff's face.

Also what about Bagpuss? I loved Bagpuss as a kid. And I think any list of top fictional cats, should include The Cat from Red Dwarf, dude was COOL.

Jan - I’m loving the overlays. These games are trash and need all the help you can give them.

The problem with the overlays is that—just like in Brad’s Mario video—they start tanking the frame rate not just while they’re on screen but also for quite some time afterward. I generally enjoy them, but that aspect of them really bothers me.

The graphic overlays were really neat the first few times, but were way overused. It'd be nice if they were a fun surprise instead of an annoyance.

I'd understand people not liking the overlays if they were distracting from a good game, but who really needs uninterrupted footage of this piece of shit?
