Another Persona 5 Tidbit

Hopefully it's on all next-gen systems (or at least PS3 and 360 if they're going HD).

Dude - ive only just picked up lost odyssey- still have P4 and vakyria chronicles to finish, throw in the two coming final fantasy games

I'd definitely have to buy a ps3 if this is coming to it.

I just hope they take their time with it to evolve Persona and make it really different from the previous generation. Sorta like how Persona 3+4 are so different from Revelations: Persona and Persona 2.

So apparently this guy wasn't a producer on P4 either, so it would not only be an error in the number if this wasn't true, but they would also have gotten his name and picture wrong.

hurry up and beat Persona 4, before you even think about doing an Endurance Run for Persona 5

Here's to hoping that it becomes official soon. I can't see why they wouldn't make it, the series is actually pretty popular in the states. I pretty sure the endurance run has helped sales a bit. I was a fan of the series since the day Persona 3 was released. I got the very first copy of the game from the gamestop I went to so that was pretty cool watching them open the shipping box to see all the new games that were coming out that week. 
 
I hope they update the graphics a bit since it will most likely be on the current gen systems. The persona 4 gameplay was really solid so I don't want them to make too many changes but a few minor ones would be welcomed. The changes between P3 and P4 were really small, but they actually had a major impact on "playability" of the game.

I buy a PS3 and import jap version of P5 so I don't have to wait for the localization and hit the wall of jap text. But then need to announce it first.

Anyone can become a producer, it's not some sort of job you have to go to school for. Familiar with Akira Yamaoka, Keiji Inafune, Koji Igarashi, or Hideo Kojima? The list goes on. They all started out doing different things, but have also been producers on games. "

A this-gen Persona 5 release would dwarf all other games coming-out.  Modern Warfare 2, God of War III, Metal Gear Solid: Rising, Final Fantasy XIII, etc. had all better watch out!!! :p

I say we start a petition that P5 feature a pair of Ghouls named Vinny and Jeff.

If this is for the PS3 only then I will be sad. After all, I did just buy a PS2 for Persona 4.

hopefully it is real, and it comes out for ps3. if it's another ps2 exclusive, i'm flying over to japan and karate kicking somebody in the face. it would also make sense for atlus to put p5 out on wii, since the technology is closer to the ps2 than the ps3's or 360's, so it wouldn't be as hard to go from working on a last gen system to a next gen system. plus, atlus has been putting out a ton of stuff for ds lately. still, persona has always been a playstation franchise, so i'm not too worried about it going to microsoft or nintendo.

 Though I'd rather put my money into a Chie-focused martial arts action spin-off, now that I think about it.

I gotta say that if it wasn't for Giant Bomb, I wouldn't be this excited to learn about Persona 5. Bring it on.

Atlus is pretty smart about this stuff, they're not like NIS where they would release a PS2 game upscaled to a PS3 exclusive. I'm more worried it would be for the PSP. That would suck. PS2 and Wii maybe?
Also there was a SMT game for the Xbox, so weabos acting like the 360 is a complete impossibility are full of it.

Please please please not a PS3-exclusive. Although I'm fairly sure it would be so (or to some extent; PSP as well), my 360 would love it as well. :(
Played 3 and 4 for HOURS on my old PS2.

I'm playing persona 3 for over 70 hours. And although I want it to be for 360 so I can enjoy it, I would be happy if they would just announce it for something.

I hope they go more business sense and make it on the 360, but considering the value of loyalty in Japan, I'd be hoping for much too much.
