OK, fine, I'll use its full title. South Park Let's Go Tower Defense Play! will be released on October 7 and will run 800 points. I am way into the name of the game, but I'm sure you have already pieced together that my long-standing stance on tower defense negates any goodwill the faux-Japan name has generated.
But let's not get all negative just because I hate playing tower defense games! There's also new information on a few other XBLA releases, some of which confirms games that hadn't been announced yet, some of which provides a bit more detail on known titles. Here's the company line on five more games, straight out of Microsoft's press release.
I like the confidence in that Toy Soldiers bit. It's "poised to be a smash hit." That can only mean that they've secured Martika's smash hit song, Toy Soldiers, for the game. Here's that.
