Persona 3 Portable Hits North America On July 6

After a good long time of saying absolutely nothing about Persona 3 Portable, the US arm of Atlus confirmed that the game is coming to North America on July 6. I am going to play this upcoming video game product, even if it is a remake of a game that I could have played years ago.

Speaking of which, have they made Tartarus a little shorter or different in any way? 'Cause that was awful.

All I have to say is: finally. It's like waiting for a damn Pokemon release.

I dunno if I'll get this. The only thing that makes me kinda wanna try it, is you can finally control all your party members in this version like you could in Persona 4. That was a huge frustrating thing about Persona 3 to me as well, but 
I beat persona 3 after playing persona 4, and I didn't like it half as much. Persona 4 just had such better characters, and story.

I can't wait for this! I've had trouble going back to p3 after p4, but with all the changes their making to it, i bet i can play it now! And i can play it at work! So pumped!!

I'm seriously going to buy a new PSP just to play this game. P3 with improvements made by P4 and more is just *Jizz pants*

And when is Pokemon SoulSilver comming, eh?

Hey hey. Don't pull that trigger, Persona is coming in July!

Awesome. Although I own Persona 4 (I bought it "for collector's sake" but that game is so readily available everywhere that I doubt I can get much money for it), I've yet to play any Persona game, or Shin Megami Tensei game for that matter.
 
This'll definitely be the first. I'd love a hardcore RPG to tool around with on my PSP, and this'll definitely fit the bill.

Man this trailer will freak out a lot of people who have no idea that they shoot themselves in the head in order to fight shadows and stuff.   I'm still kinda weirded out by it.

I think this is a much more interesting bit of information for Shin Megami Tensei fans. Most people wont be able to read that link, but basically it's a listing for a Shin Megami Tensei (temporary title) game on PS3.

I got 3/4s in with FES and then P4 hit.

I think it's time I start thinking about a PSP purchase, damn you Persona!

I'm looking forward to seducing men and crushing their souls for a change.  Playing as a female will be a nice change of pace from playing as a guy already in P3 and P4. 

It better get released on PSN also.

Bring it to the DS damnit !!! i don't wanna buy a PSP for one game.

Will be nice for even more people to be able to play it but I can't see myself going through Persona 3 on the PSP, it would be cool to own and all but I'd rather buy like P4 first since I don't even have it yet.

Im super exited, ive been waiting for a date on this. I finished P3 FES on new years (ironic huh) and im working on P4, hopefully i can finish P4 by then

Alright, I may have just found a purchase for my PSP; about time that piece of junk got some use. It's been sitting uncharged above my desk since I got it.

Would love an endurance run for this, hearing jeff and vinnys reaction to the MMO S.Link would be priceless.

Ok now, finally, after all these years I think I'm going to get a PSP over a DS, I don't care about your cool games, I just want to play 100 hours+ of SMT awesome-ness 
 
Also I'm European, but I guess nothing is stopping me from pirating it? Stupid Atlus (nah Atlus I love you man, but come on? We're getting kinda screwed here again)

Even though I already have the PS2 version and therefore have touched a good 75% of the content of this game already... I was almost considering getting a PSP. But I should probably get Persona 4 first....
 
Also, Endurance Run material?

I hope someone will pick up publishing duties for Europe, but I'm sure it'll happen eventually just like with P3, P3: FES and P4.

I bought P3 because of good reviews but never got around to playing it. Then the Endurance Run got me to play and finish P4. I was set to go back to P3 when this was announced and I decided to hold off on it altogether. 
 
Looking forward to playing this, and I hope Jeff gets into it enough to review it. By July there's likely fewer games coming out too, so the time it would take to play through it for review might not be a problem either.
