But dude, I can't imagine them being able to make many varieties of guitars considering they have to be that small. Really, I'm thinking this could be a pretty horrific idea.

Seems like an alright idea. But yeah, the fact that the songs might be from the likes of The Jonas Brothers, Hannah Montana and The Naked Brothers Band, ReTarDedFisHy wants to stay the hell away from this game.

Terrible idea Rock Band is behind Guitar Hero in sales and I doubt Lego is going to fix that

Be interesting to see how they incorporate a building mechanic into the game. I'd love to see you gain and lose parts as you do better or worse. So if you really suck, the stage set is wrecked into Lego pieces and your band is falling apart. Could be amusing.

But seriously, after attending a New Years Party at which two little tykes tried to get their Rock Band on with us big folk, I think a Lego Rock Band game that's accessible to kids would actually be a really great idea. I'm not a parent, but if I were, having a rhythm game I could play with my child, that might actually educate them about music fundamentals EVEN AS THEY'RE HAVING FUN, would be totally awesome. So put me in the camp that thinks this idea has real potential.

Don't the people at Lego realize we don't want Lego branded spinoffs of current IPs. We want a Lego building game! Give me a thousand pieces that snap together (I pick colors, etc...) and let me blow up my creations afterwards. They've got to be holding out on this because they want to sell more overpriced plastic choking hazards.

I think it'd be cool. Maybe you could build your own instruments and venues with Legos!

'course, I like the way Rock Band works now. Guitar Hero is in more need of the Lego treatment, as the games look pretty terrible now. It'd look much better if you replace all the GH character models with Lego people.

I can´t believe that there hasn´t been a Lego Racing game. Well actually there might have been one years ago, but a modern one where you could build your own vehicles and race online. Not THAT is what I want to see come out of the whole Lego-boom.

There was a LEGO Racing on the N64, and it was pretty decent.

This might make me want to play on of these music games sinceI tryed them and found them to be boring as hell and the plastic fake music makers to be over priced and lame. At least now I can watch legos doing while I play it.




Guitar hero and rock band are over priced for the amount of boring they give off if I want to push a button to music I will put in a CD/mp3 and hit a cardbord box and get the same amount  of fun from it.  Or i will just play let's tap it also has better music than those I mean it has kung fu disco.

That could actually... maybe.... be cool...

Maybe some fun dance or techno beats- that incorporate guitars- or some of the They Might Be Giants kid stuff. Lots of adult/general artists are putting out kids albums as not only do they sell- but they're starting to have kids themselves. Jack Johnson's Curious George album sold like hotcakes.  If I think back to the old Lego Island games- which were probably the last heavily pushed Lego centric software- the music was just kind of random mood/video game fun stuff. Or maybe they would more Weird Al-ish covers. Guitar Hero: Weird Al Edition- now that is a product I could get behind. They could make Accordion Hero with just his stuff alone.

I'd prefer if it wasn't a separate game, and just some DLC you can turn on and off...

I'd buy a $5 pack to turn Rock Band graphics all lego-y... otherwise, I could care less
