Standing out aside, that`s just how the orginization looks in general. A few members anyway. Maybe this character is trying to emulate Altair. Maybe Altair is now some kind of hero figure in the orginization and it`s an honour to wear that kind of clothing. There are a few reasons this could be."

It could just be the garb of the assassin, not necessarily dealing with their views of Altair. On the other hand, if Altair was some kind of hero to them, it would make sense when considering the man in the future. Also, this could just be another member of that bloodline, which is very likely."
