    The peak of Snes RPG's

Back when I was a chubby twelve-year old, I worked my way through any rpg's I could find at my local video store. One day I found this game. It was a few years later until I met anyone else who had played it, or found out how I wasn't the only one who thought this game was among the best I've ever played.
Now as a DS remake is in the works, today's chubby twelve-year olds are going to have something good to play. Chrono Trigger is an absolute classic with no noticeable flaws, stunning visuals, and awesome gameplay. Not to mention an epic story stretching over a few million years.
The graphics are great, 10/10, A+, fantastic. Triple techs are as fun to watch as effective in destroying your enemies.
The gameplay and story will keep you entertained and busy for many, many hours. Not including sidequests. And the battles aren't random, they are avoidable. There are no stale moments during the story, no slow parts, and no quests that will make you groan. There are bosses that will make you pull your hair out, villains that will piss you off, and moments you won't soon be forgetting by a long shot.
The replayability is almost a must with the new game+ feature. All of your items, levels, and techs will be intact on your next playthrough. (Lufia fans will know exactly what I'm talking about)
This is a game you compare other rpg's to. Although there probably won't be one better than it, all others won't seem as good as it. You'll know what I mean.
I haven't mentioned the story at all because I knew nothing about it when I picked the game up. I rented it because I though Crono looked like Goku. (Akira Toriyama designed the characters in this game, so yeah. He does look like Goku in a way)
But play this game as soon as you can! It will change your expectations for an RPG. And if you've already beaten it before, don't you think it's time to save the  world again?

Chrono Trigger isn't just a game; it is a masterpiece. Designed by the masterful minds of many incredibly creative people at Squaresoft and Enix (including one Hironobu Sakaguchi), Chrono Trigger chronicles the adventures of a silent young boy named Crono. A timeless (literally) classic 0

In Chrono Trigger, players follow the footsteps of Crono as he journeys through temporal dimensions to save the world from its seemingly inevitable demise at the destructive claws of Lavos, an evil slug-like creature intent on sucking the life force out of earth in order to propogate its genes throughout the universe. Throughout his journey, Crono meets a colorful cast of companions, including Lucca, his tech savvy childhood friend; Marle, the princess of the medieval kingdom Guardia; Frog (my ...
