Sega Announces Dreamcast Collection For 360 And PC
Wasn't there a fully translated Rent A Hero No.1 that was supposed to be relased on Xbox?
If they don't make a fishing rod controller for my Xbox, I have no interest in playing Sega Marine Fishing.
Its like they sat down and said "what games can we pick that will make younger children think the Dreamcast was a horrible piece of shit console?"
You want to make a good collection? Power Stone, Jet Grind Radio, Soul Calibur, maybe Shenmue, and CHUCHUFREAKING ROCKET!! Skies of Arcadia would be cool, as would maybe Soul Reaver or something random like that.
No wait. You know what they need? Seaman. SOLD.
I already have Crazy Taxi Fare Wars on PSP, Sonic Adventures on Gamecube, and Space Channel 5 on PS2. Do I reeeeeaaaaallllly need to be buying this disc? No, I guess not.
Now where's Shenmue? I have yet to play that game. Or do I need to download it illegally on a Dreamcast emulator? That's where you're pushing me SEGA.
WOOOOOO--
" That’s right--Sega Bass Fishing, Sonic Adventure, Crazy Taxi, and Space Channel 5 Part 2"
Nevermind.
Um, my Dreamcast is still set up in the living room and I have all those games with the exception of Sega Bass Fishing.
I never owned a Dreamcast and it would be fun to have a neat compilation (maybe 2 discs) of different Dreamcast titles I missed out on. But this shit isn't going to cut it. Wish they'd put the effort into getting license rights to a couple of non-Sega titles.
" Awesome, more ways that I can remember just how much Crazy Taxi sucks to play today. YEAH I SAID IT. DEAL WITH IT. "Yeh I know what you mean man. But its not that it sucked so much as it was a game very much of the time where open world environments hadnt really been explored like this before. Crazy Taxi is good for nostalga but not for very long.
" Awesome, more ways that I can remember just how much Crazy Taxi sucks to play today. YEAH I SAID IT. DEAL WITH IT. "I bought a really cheap PS2 copy recently.
While I loved it ten years ago... its unplayable now.
" @SkinnyBlue said:Yes. Chu Chu Rocket." Sega Bass Fishing? Aren't there...more exciting games for the Dreamcast to put on this disc? "no "
You've been pimping Chu Chu Rocket for mobile devices for MONTHS and can't get it onto a console?
I'm quite disappointed, sirs.
I was hoping for something like the Genesis Collection they put out, where it would be a comprehensive collection of all the Sega produced Dreamcast games. Instead we get two that are already on XBLA, one of which doesn't have it's original music, and then two games that no one ever wanted to play in the first place. Sega Bass Fishing? REALLY?
