I know what you're talking about and I just find it annoying. Have you tried shooting the guys in the jeep?

try new tatics. maybe you shouldnt be run and guning. try sniping or try getting your own car and use that turrent gun. try attacking at night and get the hang of the game.

Oh and I forgot. For some reason the Flare Pistol one shots all the people within the jeep when you shoot the jeep with it.

The sad part is the TC is completely right. You are just constantly being shot at from every angle at all times. I played the game for 10 minutes and immediately wanted to snap the disc in half.

If you rush into a base full of people without planning anything out or scouting it beforehand, you're going to get fucked. It's not that type of game. If you don't know where you're getting shot from and it's coming from seemingly nowhere, you're probably doing it wrong. Caution is your friend."

"Not even going through bases, just driving on the road. The objectives are so spread out that you have to battle through an army of enemies until you can finally reach where you need to go. That being said, those 10 minutes is the only time I have spent with the game so I'll try not to just say "this game sucks" right away."

So the multi-player is pretty good?...I have only played SP so far."

Mac 10 + Dragunov = instant destruction

I've been really enjoying the game so far, I'm done with the tutorial and into my first mission and the setting and game play are fantastic. As far as the difficulty goes, i'm playing on normal and I've died once so far and I have played very carefully. I like to sneak into camps at night and machete dudes in the back of the head. Awesome.

With the game, I feel like I need to wait for other people to finish it and find out what can go wrong.

For example, I've heard that you can miss side-quests by going further into the story mode. So I haven't done anything but side quests!

Stuff like that. I really don't like it when a game prevents you from going back to finish things to completion. I want to do things right the first time.

I love the game, but yes, when they see you and shoot ya in the jeep, it does grow to be a bit tedious and frustrating, but all in all, it is a great experience!

It definately has some balance issues. It is way too hard. Far Cry 1 was a fun challenge. I'm playing Far Cry 2 on easy and it's too hard for me. I mean, I play most games on normal or hard. = /"

I tried to do a gun merchant mission this morning that required me to drive halfway across Africa to find a convoy. Jeeps were on my ass just about every couple of minutes. It's not even a matter of the game being difficult because of it, it's just incredibly tedious."

Obviously you're just bad at it...getting annoyed at that turning into saying its a terrible game doesn't make any sense. Also the fact that you use something such as "lawl u mad", after showing a fail site and thinking its somehow clever or something...really shows how dumb you are, and your maturity level.

Moving around the world can be time consuming, and the way the world is sectioned off by mountains and rivers diminishes the open-world sensation the game creates, as a lot of the time you're forced to go down the roads or rivers to get to the main city hub.  Get camo and a couple silenced weapons and difficult conflicts become decidedly less so. 

I'm really enjoying the game, but it does get tedious on occasion when it feels like I've got to fight a constant war just to get anywhere.  The distance you can travel away from a roadblock and have all the enemies respawn is rediculous, though.  Sometimes it seems like enemies are respawning around me when I'm still searching the camp. 

Just to specify to everyone, I don't even have the game. I just played it at a friend's house for a bit. What I said was just some observations I made for the short time I played it.

I wouldn't mind the checkpoint encounters, if they hadn't always made a mission's objective be on the other side of the map.  It's just a huge nuisance and it drags the game on unnecessarily and makes it feel very repetitive constantly driving most of the time, and when you do fight, it's usually the same basic situation.  If you could teleport to your safehouses, while not in combat, I think it would hugely improve this game.
