Did you prefer the Russian campaign or American?

Russian because of the ending.  

I hate Jungles, and have always preferred the more urban style warfare that the Russians had to go through in WW2.

The Russian campaign since Reznov (or whatever the hell his name was) was a badass.

The Russian, even if it didn't have the goodies the American had it was much more epic.

The Russian campaign was much better because of Gary FUCKING Oldman. Dude is the definition of badass, not Keifer Sutherland.

Definitely the Russian campaign. Storming the reichstag and killing a whole crapload of nazis along the way made me feel good.

While it was cool to get away from the typical WW2 setting and visiting the Pacific, Reznov was so freaking awesome. I had fun with the flamethrower and everything, and the Banzai soldiers, but in the end, I preferred the Russian side.

I couldn't see jack shit in the jungle.  Maybe that was the point, but it still pissed me off.

The Russian campaign, I liked them both though.

I kind of disliked them both, because they were so god damn stereotypical. The Russians don't give Nazis other chances and just blindly kill them, while the Americans take all prisoners even after all the horrible things they've seen.

I preferred the American campaign way more than the Russian campaign...if only because it was something different and new. The Russian campaign was just more of the same and even felt like a rehash of COD4 with a WWII-skin at times. "COD4 had an awesome sniper level...maybe we should add a sniper level!!!"

Russian Campaign because, firstly, good use of the Rain, music, skybox and Environment. And secondly, because Reznoz made me seem like I was a god damn god, always praising me.

The Russian campaign - Reznov is awesome.

I liked the American campaign because it was the freshest thing I've seen in awhile.

the whole game felt like ww2 threw an American filter. the Russians were being shown as hyper evil bastards, while the Americans were shown in a attempted badness witch made them lame and boring.

I liked the characters and story more in the Russian campaign

i think the action in the American story is better, but the Russian ending was way better. 

The motherland campaign because communism is better than capitalism you filthy dirty capitalists pigs!! You will learn to love LENIN!! You bible will become the communist manifesto you decadent bourgeoise.

Russian. Better environments then American Campaign, and a good ending. Also, Japanese banzai AI was pretty bad. I did like the American campaign's last level though. It had the only real convincing guerrilla warfare moments, if that makes any sense at all.

Beating CoD 1 & 2 on veteran you naturaly play American and not to play devils advocate but the Russian campaign was easier on Veteran Difficulty compared to the American part. ALTHOUGH I beat the games on the hardest difficulty to be challanged and that is where I'm liking for the American path comes in. If any of you have played the veteran difficulty you know that the game can become a pain in the ass. But if your looking for a challange play on veteran but if you don't like to rage the just play on normal
