CRESTVIEW, Fla. - A Crestview teenager is behind bars after authorities say she stabbed another teen over a video game controller.
Okaloosa County Sheriff's deputies say the 13 year-old girl was arguing with a 14 year-old boy over the controller when they say she went to the kitchen, grabbed a knife and stabbed him in the chest.
He was treated and released. The 13 year-old was booked into the Department of Juvenile Justice facility in Crestview. She is being charged with aggravated battery with a weapon.
Deputies say no adults were home at the time of the incident. They also say five other children between the ages of four and fourteen were also in the home at the time.
