@clonedzero: having gone through the first 3 years of posts, nothing so far has even come close to referencing anything personal. I would never think of surfacing that information anyway although it is technically available if it does exist. For me I think all involved they know the stuff on this BBS was strictly some dumb fun and bullshit they threw out there (and against each other). I understand where you're coming from and uncovering a private nugget we shouldn't have is a possibility although I'm incredibly skeptical it exists here. At this time especially and with this community I trust we'll do what is in the interest of the crew if that situation were to occur. That and worst case scenario the thread gets deleted and that's that.

It also helps that a vast majority of those links are dead and impossible to do anything meaningful with.

Usenet never forgets (at least nothing after 1988), sadly much of the World Wide Web of old is permanently gone. The Web Archive hasn't archived a lot before 1998 or so, there are some stray stuff dating back to late 1994, but it's incredibly rare. Even relatively recent stuff, from maybe 2008-09 seems to be gone forever, not archived on archive.org or anywhere else I can find.

I think it was the Ryan Tribute pod, or the one after that one.
