Giant Bomb's Users Pick for GOTY

Dammit, was I the only one to vote for Geometry Wars 2?

I voted L4D, honestly surprised the user pick was MGS4. I actually figured the Staff would pick that and the users would pick GTAIV.

So apparently Princess Debut is 2008's DS game of the year.
Whatever happened to the platform-specific voting that they said was coming?

I voted GTA IV. Oh well, both are good. Glad to see my other choice, Professor Layton got some love. But, in the general picture, a lot of these choices were off by a few votes.

I voted MGS4. The only reason I have to be surprised about the outcome is that GiantBomb seems to be made up of mainly 360 owners.

I voted for Megaman 9 but that's just because I LOVE  Megaman!!

At least I wasn't the only one to vote for Burnout Paradise. 1.9% is respectable. MGS4 only had 19.9% of the vote, which goes to show just how strong this year was.

I expected GTAIV to win since it's multiplatform therefore more people would have played it, but MGSIV isn't exactly surprising.

Replayability perfected. I've probably sunk 40-50 hours into it and I just got it before Christmas.

If I didn't chose L4D I would have chosen Burnout Paradise.

I chose littleBIGPlanet. Yes, I went there!

Nothing against Tiger Woods...but I am surprised that it was even an option.
