Official 10,000 members party thread.

I make that about 35 hours from launch to member number 10,000

Massive congrats to all the GB staff. The dream has come true.

Now everybody just celebrate and go crazy!!!

It is astonishing really. I predict they will reach near to 20,000 within the week. Which is insane really. It just proves that you really don't need a big marketing budget to make a site popular -- just a bit of a niche and the most respected journalist in video games history.

But I think a lot of credit goes into the actual development of the site; I was a little nervous when I found out it was going to be essentially a Wiki but the site won me over as soon as I saw it.

The community is really awesome at the moment too.

Awesome work GB! I always knew, from day 1, that would you make it. We've come sooooo far in so many years together - all of the memories --- uh I mean... wow. That is impressive though - it really is.
