seriously, are you really excited for SFIV?

i don't remember the last time i played a fighting game, let alone buy one. I don't know about the general public, but personally i'm not that interested in fighting games anymore. in the golden days of fighting games ( the mid 90's) i played MK, SF, and any fighting games that i can get my hands on, but for some reason i stop playing fighting games when i got older. are you still into fighting games and how well do you think SF4 will sell??

I for one am not. Never really been into fighting games that much.

I am somewhere between the lines of fuck and yes. I will be getting SF4 over Killzone 2 (But I'll still be getting KZ2)

I didn't care about SFIV four months or so ago, but then I got SS... HD Remix, which led me to buy Hyper Fighting, Alpha I and III MAX, and now I've pre-ordered IV and a SFIV stick.

So, yea... I'm a little excited.

Very excited, #1 game I'm looking forward to right now.  I loved SF2 in arcades back when it was new, but I never bought it or any of the MK games in the SNES/Genesis days.  Bought a few fighters on PS1 and Saturn, then even more on PS2 and Dreamcast (hell and Xbox and GC as well).  This gen I've bought VF5, Soul Calibur 4, SF2THDRemix, SSBB...  can't remember if there are any others.

I expect SF4 to sell probably ~3-4 million on 360 and PS3 combined this year (PC sales will be ~20k).  Soul Calibur 4 sold a few million and I think SF4 has more broad appeal.

Fuck yes, then again I'm the kind of retard who still have my Dreamcast plugged into my set for Capcom vs SNK, 3rd Strike and Mark Of Garou.
Not that I'm any good though. I still get my ass kicked in SSF2THDR on live. I am excited as hell though and have been able to hype up some of my friends who fell off the fighting game wagon years ago since it's Street Fighter 2 2 more then straight up Street Fighter 4.

I am excited for it, but my lack of SF2 skills on Xbox Live Arcade is kind of making me shy away from it

Yes. I am very excited. I was practicing Gen in SFA2 this morning, and it only got me more excited. I love fighting games, I love the competitiveness, I love it so much.

I am very excited.  I can't believe the fighting games are finally coming back.  It's about time.  I have been buying the stuff that's been coming out over the years (Tekken 5, Virtua Fighter 5, SSFIIHD), but I'm psyched about SFIV beyond belief.

I am because I know a guy who is a huge SF fan and he's got me quite interested. I'm also interested in trying out a fighting game which isn't Tekken but is also good which is exactly what this promises to be.

Not as much as everyone else, but still enough to make me want to buy at release.

And I really hope those tutorials are as good as the developers say they are, because I'm really going to need them.

no. i can't stand most fighting games. for some reason though i love soulcalibur. not sure why. i think its because of its non fighting game ness

Yes, I’m excited for SF 4

I was into fighting games back in the day (MK, SF, Primal Rage, Pit-Fighter), but got out of it for a long time.  Guilty Gear X at my college re sparked that interest and I’ve been slowly getting back into fighting games since.

HELL YEAH! Haven't gotten really into a fighting game for awhile except a little DoA4. Marvel vs Capcom 2 was my shit back in the day so I'm pretty pumped to get into a new game.

Nope, frame counting and combos have never been my strong point.

I'm not going to get hard core into it, but I am damn hell sure damn hell buying this game.

I haven't been into fighting games in years, but I am very excited about SF IV.
