<sigh>

Gerstmann posts that he wants lockpicks for Christmas.  That gets the tumblers in my head clicking (nyuk nyuk) and I think 'man, that'd be an awesome hobby/skill to have.'  Now I've gone off and purchased a set for myself along with two books on lockpicking.

Anyone else gonna give it a go?

My little brother likes picking locks. I tried it, was bored by it. I found it either too frustrating or too easy. Nothing interesting about it.

i saw a few youtube vids on how to pick some locks. It seems to take too much time for what it's worth. Only good thing i see coming out of it is if you actually lost your key or combo, you can get through it by using those techniques.

Oh I'm sure it's a big waste of time and money, but what the heck.  Maybe some day I'll break into the GB offices and steal the deer head!

I friend of mine showed me how to do it in the most simple type of lockers (the ones in crap motel rooms). It's actually much easier than it sounds, but I don't have anything that I feel like breaking into.

I don't see the point in lockpicking. Unless you're going to become a locksmith, there is no use.

The best way to get you motivated to get good at it is to lock your self outside of your house and throw the keys away.

Dood, lockpicking would be an AWESOME hobby!!!  I don't know why I haven't picked it up.  They should make this a NECESSARY thing to know in the world.

I think I just found something new to research.  Thank you, sir.  Enjoy the lockpicks, and let us know how it turns out.

Actually, yes. I hope one day that I will be skilled in the art of lockpicking. Not that I currently have any use for it, but it'd be pretty rad to be able to do.
