Which game are you more excited for? Batman: Arkham City or Uncarted 3?
Uncharted 3 or Batman
The first Batman was fine, but I have absolutely no excitement over playing another version of it. I'll buy it and play it - I'm just not excited about it. I kind of did enough "swinging from one gargoyle to another" play the first time.
So, yeah, Uncharted 3 by like a hundred fucking miles.
AHHHH WHY ASK THIS !!!
I love Uncharted because it's by far the most polished game franchise out there. It really is the pinnacle for story telling, console visuals, sound design and the gameplay... oh how I love it
In saying that Batman is bringing a lot of interesting things to the table. Plus it's Batman
Sigh I'm gonna pick Batman. Only because It's Batman. And Mark Hamill kicks ass

You say that, but, as much as I preferred UC2 to Batman:AA, it looks like Arkham City is bringing home the most improvements this year. I'm sure UC3 will be great, but it hardly looks like the same leap UC2 was and will likely be more of the same. And, while more of the same from my favourite game of 2009 is no bad thing, I can't help but look at Arkham City, see what they've done with the scale of the map, the diversity in traversal (looks like constant gargoyle swinging may well be a thing of the past), and think that that may be one of the best games to come out this year.
Personally I'm looking forward to Batman a little bit more. I'm still extremely excited for both games, though. I bet both will be pretty good!
That new TV Spot for Uncharted 3 shot my hype through the roof, but before that I was definitely more excited for Arkham City. I pretty much know what I'm in for with Uncharted 3, so that dulls the hype a bit - it's going to be excellent, and it looks like the game has some amazing stuff in store, but at the end of the day I know exactly what to expect. Whereas Arkham City is looking like a super ambitious sequel to what was already a pretty tremendous game, it's a pretty damn exciting prospect. So, uh, I don't really know, I'm really looking forward to both games and I guess on any given day I might give you a different answer.
I'm going with Batman, mainly because I feel like Uncharted 2 already pushed the boundaries of 3rd person cover based action games so much that U3 won't feel as amazing by comparison.
Batman, meanwhile, is going to be way bigger and (presumably) better than the last, so I'm more excited.
of the two? well if i had a PS3 which i dont, i'd get uncharted 3 over batman. but since i just have a 360 the choice was made for me
I loved Batman, even more than Uncharted 2, so it would rank higher on my list for 2009's game of the year, but even with Uncharted 2 being simply just great game-play, if a little boring for me sometimes (unlike the first Uncharted ironically for some), it has a lot better replay value than Arkham Asylum, and so when it comes down to it, I'd say I'm much more excited for Uncharted 3, I haven't really been giving much thought to Arkham City, which now that I think about it, I feel awful for it. I think the reason behind me more excited about Uncharted 3 is because while I love Batman and all its characters, Uncharted is (or at least was) an entirely new IP, so I feel the need to finish Drake's story more so than Batman's next outing. My anticipation doesn't reflect what I think the actual game will be, and I could very well just love Arkham City over Uncharted 3 in the end.
If I had to decide, i'd wait until both games are out and then pick the one with more originality/innovation
I'm more excited about Arkham City because it's going to arrive earlier and I know that Uncharted 3 will be amazing so I don't need to worry about it too much. I have some reservations on Arkham City since I feel like they may be doing a bit too much (more character, larger areas) but not necessarily doing any major changes to the core gameplay mechanics.
Both look to be great games. Although, after replaying Arkham Asylum again...I think I'm more excited for Arkham City now. I will probably end up getting Uncharted 3 down the road, but I'm leaning towards Batman since it'll be a longer game.
Uncharted 3! The previous game was so freaking awesome how can I not be more excited for Uncharted. Although Arkham Asylum was good too.
