what do you think of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

modern warfare 2 is a well thought out game, this game will stay on the market for ages, and the next call of duty will probably come out in about 2 years, because of how good this game is.

It's a great game.. I just can't play it all that much cause me and my dad share a copy.

well, i liked the single player but the multi player felt a bit too much with all the kill streaks, but it's a good MP component and it's a solid game. 

I think I'm the only one in the world who hasn't played it yet.

I just started it last night, and so far it's even better than I imagined it would be.

It was overhyped, but it was a quality game.

Overhyped but it was ok. 

The SP campaign is great, but wierd.
Multiplayer could be better, I don't like any of the maps except for Terminal, and the game is just littered with campers and naders.
Now, if they release a DLC with the COD4 maps then that would be awesome.
 
It's worth buying, but that doesn't mean that your should stop playing COD4 which in my opinion, is a better game overall.

It's a good game but there are a number of balance issues that plague the multiplayer and the story of the singleplayer is a little muddled.

Multiplayer is good, a stepup from CoD4, even if the kill streaks are pretty absurd, basically its a modern quake arena.
 
Singleplayer was, as ive said before, a big let down. 4-5 hours of implausible badly directed hollywood action movie with forgettable characters. Call of Duty used to be better than Medal of Honor because of the great campaigns, they were believable and had interesting characters... they changed to cater to their new audience and have lost me.
 
So now im looking to the rebooted Medal of Honor for a good campaign.

I've never heard of this Modern-War-Fare-Too.

Just finished the single player. Although it was good in that it was all actiony, I kind thought the constant action brought the game down. I don't like super fast paced games, which is why COD 2 was fun, you could find a good spot and snipe enemies, you played at your pace, it wasn't all rush-rush-rush. And I didn't follow the story, at all. I felt the end sort of happened WAY too quickly, which is a shame, as it could have gone on longer. Gonna try the multiplayer tomorrow.
