So Microsoft decided to stop adding more XBOX Originals for the XBOX 360. What titles that are on will be rebranded to Games On Demand.
Xbox originals coming to an end
Only bought dreamfall and Splinter Cell: Chaos theory, both great games.
But I haven't gotten myself to buying others like stubbs the zombie and black even though Ive been interested for some time. No online (besides the few games that has online capabilities) or achievements support, sadly takes away some of my interest. Not to mention that it doesnt seem that the games run that well on the 360.
I definately care since its becoming harder and harder to find these games and since there relativly cheap I could easily see myself being bored and downloading one of these (and they will always be smaller than a X360 game so its a lot quicker to download on my crappy connection). So far none of the games have piquid my interest though since I own most of them. If they had a fuller library id definately do it though.
Personally i dont care much about the service, as they haven't released any of the games i played a ton on the old tank. Sure there is Fable and Halo, but they are both titles i played to death and have no reason to relive again.
I could care less, they never put anything good up on there anyway.
However, that's not to say they aren't worth preserving, it's good that they are keeping them, but i'm sad they won't be adding more simply because instead of 'maybe' not seeing some of the better games, we now definately wont.
@pornstorestiffi:
Complaints about Xbox Originals price point are about the only price compaint i've ever supported (aside from the PSP Go!) because the majority of titles belong to Microsoft, and it's costing them literally nothing to put most of them out, most of the normal fees for releasing a game do not apply, and even if they did, when you consider how cheap most of those games are second hand, it makes you wonder why they even bothered? I mean, it goes two ways though, if you lower the price on them too much, people start to question paying a similar amount of XBLA games that often have substantially less content, especially your uneducated buyer who doesn't know the difference between re-releasing an older game, and a newer XBLA game.
I think the games they've put up so far has been great choices, like they chose some which sold bad but got great reviews, some which sold well and got great reviews, and a few bad. too bad I have most of them^^
Of the 25 games theyve put up, I only find around 7 mediocre/bad games. Thats impressive.
But if they arent going to make more games compatible with the 360 (Beyond Good and Evil screams to be ported imo), I can see why theyre stopping this.
The only game I ever bought was Crimson Skies. Even then I felt ripped-off because I could just go to a GameStop and find it for $5 instead of $15. I honestly would buy games off of the service if it had the following:
- Cheaper prices. $5 sounds good and $10 is fine for a more popular game like Halo.
- Integrated guide and party chat. The reason I avoid original Xbox games is because it severs my connection with XBL friends.

That's about it.
The games I most want ported for the 360 are BGE, Oddworld: Strangers Wrath, James bond everything or nothing, Cronicles of riddick, Getting up, and battlefield 2 :P
Buying and finding the games themselves is not that hard, you can find new copies of Panzer Dragoon and Jet set radio future for free on the internet, cheap.
