I hate to be the voice of dissent, but I don't care for Zero Punctuation. I just don't think it's terribly funny. But, hey, to each his or her own. Not that it matters what lil' ol' me thinks anyway.
I do not tired of Yahtzee and his criticisms. He's usually right on the money but occasionally too harsh. His video are still a lot of fun to watch and it most certainly takes a lot of effort on his part to put them together.
I don't know I kinda agree, but his last couple reviews (Webcomics and Alone in the Dark in particular) have been really funny. I think he's back on his A game.

I love his work and animation.. anyone who's an equal opportunity hater is a lot of fun to watch. Even when he eviscerates my favorite games (like Oblivion, MGS4, or any JRPG) it's just funny. In some ways it's self-referential.
Though I do think he has an unnatural love of all things Valve (hey, I thought Half-Life 2 was good, but not that good).
why? because he has to play every game looking for the handful of flaws to exaggerate to no end. while it's always funny, it's almost never as big a deal as he makes it, and it MUST impact his ability to enjoy the game. and if you're not enjoying games as a gamer...well....that's a sad existence, IMO.

He probably enjoys games, but again, if you're a critic, you've got to do what brings in money. Also does anyone find it sad that he's not really independent anymore? The Escapist pretty much owns him and is dangling him by the neck with a noose. Just like him i am rather disguste4d by the amount of commercials at the end of his videos.
Yahtzee was hilarious in the day but now he seems to be repeating himself. its a good thing he only does one a week because it would get very tired, very quickly.

He reviews one game a week and often not even a new game, I'm sure that leaves plenty to play and enjoy, and besides, I could point out flaws in things I enjoy too and it wouldn't take away from it at all, sadly I wouldn't be as funny as he is so there'd be very little money in it for me.

I thought that would be the case but he still makes me crack up with each new video.
