I've been an avid smoker for about 8 years now, wondering if anyone else here shares the same interest.
Believe it or not I run into plenty of people in the cigar scene that are into gaming, whether it be electronic, board, or pen&paper.

I'm not into smoking. I'm sure sitting around playing video games and surfing Giant Bomb all day is killing me fast enough already.

From time to time, yes, I'll have a cigar, but it's a rare thing. People get really into them though.

I smoke cigars 3-4 times a year.  Not much more than that, because you know, I don't want to lose a lung.

"Come and hip, drip, boy, have a cigar, you're gonna go fall... you're gonna fly high, you're never gonna die, you're gonna make it if you try, they're gonna love you....... " Words of Pink Floyd. Always correct.

And so obvious it's uneeded.

I smoke cigars sometimes. I wouldn't call myself an enthusiast, the last time I had one was on January first.  I stick to cigarettes for the most part.

Nub Cameroons - about 5x per year.  Very smooth smoke, and all of them are half-size (so no wasting that other half you just can't get through in one sitting).

Winter is a bad time to smoke cigars since these days you can only really smoke outside.

Cigar smoking isn't as hazardous to your health as cigarettes are, since your not supposed to inhale the smoke.

I had an opportunity to smoke a Cuban cigar once that was smuggled into the country illegally, but I passed. I have never ever smoked in my life, and while the chance to smoke a Cuban was tempting, I didn't want to break my streak.

His point is still valid. I'm not trying to say he needed to post that, but his post is valid nonetheless.

 @Linchburg:

Yes, in a very big way, they're one of my greatest passion in life. I only smoke Cubans, everything else apart from Cigars from the Dominican Republic taste notably inferior to me. Every year I buy a 20 box of either Monte Cristo's, Punch's or Romeo y Jullietta's.

I buy mine here, or at Selfridges in London. G Smith have been selling Cigars on Charring Cross Road since 1820

I smoke creamy ones, I do it about once a quarter...so it symbolizes my growth as a sexy sex machine.  Noramlly I head out to Odaiba and do it in the dead of a warm night.

I love cigars, they're mad relaxing if you're stressing out a bit, and they help boolster confidence when you want to look like a bad-ass mofo. I'll occasionally have one when I play video games, or just something to puff alongside a vaporizer session. Good combo. Pipe smoking is also pretty fun, but I'm not huge on tobacco so I won't indulge too much in that. Cigars are good enough. I've had annoying moments when I get TOO into a game, and the cigar'll drop a fat chunk of ash on my leg though. That sucks ass.

@Linkyshinks: I've never had a Cuban, they're hard to come by in the states (unless you're specifically looking to hunt down the expensive fuckers). What about them makes them so much better than other nation's cigars that you've dedicated yourself to smoking them exclusively? Maybe I'll try to find some sold in the Bahamas when I'm there in May.

The climate the tobacco grows and ferments in could not be more perfect. It gives the Gigars a richness in the flavour that you simply don't get with most others. As Iallude to earlier, those from the Domincan Republic can be equally good, if not better in some cases, for those that can afford to try the very best.

I actually already have one, bought after the first film, it's made out of white clay though, which is traditional in Holland and Germany. The cold clay cools the smoke in combination with the length of the pipe.

Yeah I smoke cigars a good bit. I used to smoke the big ones but I developed a taste for the smaller, lighter ones. Personal favourites are these vanilla cigars I got in Portugal. They're cheap and wonderful stuff. For basic cigars I just go for Hamlets. Not bad but they could be better.

I like cigars. I've had few, since I only turned 18 this September and I don't like to go overboard with that kind of thing, but I enjoy a cigar now and again.

My father is Cuban, and had me smoke my first cigar on my 13th birthday.  It's been a birthday tradition for years now, and one that my mother must never find out about.  They've become a mark of celebration, like a glass of champagne, but more exclusively male.

I smoke them when i can get my hands on good quality ones. I never smoke machine made or convenience store cigars because i dont see the point of settling for a cheaply made cigar when its going to ruin your health anyways.

I personally havent found a non-flavored cigar that ive enjoyed to the nub, the closest ive ever came to enjoying one was a Flora De Oliva.

Sadly us Americans cant enjoy Cuban cigars unless you want to pay insane amounts to a third party dealer.

I buy them on occasion, even though it's totally illegal for me to buy them in Ontario until later this year. Real Cuban cigars are fantastic, my girlfriend brought me a couple from her Cuba trip this summer. My God were they good, orgasmic even.

I'm not a serious aficionado, but I love em.

I've smoked some that are considered much better but Romeo-y-Julieta-Exhibition-No-3 is probably my favourite I've smoked.

My humidor is unfortunately empty at the moment. (

I like the Romeo Y Julieta 1875 but I can't stand their Habana Reserve line.
