Yes. I've meet my gf at the kebab bar :P
We were out with a pack of "friends"(I was 19teen and rarely left my pc :P). And there were few people I didn't know. She was sitting right across me on the opposite site of the table (turned front to me) and she was looking at me during eating. She had such a crazy emotional look. I will never forget it. She basically couldnt focus on eating that thing.I instantly falled in love. I messaged her in the evening and we were out on a date next week and a couple week later.
We are together 5years ;)
...Sure, why not. Takes all sorts and so forth. If someone says they fell in love at first sight, who am I to argue? I've got better things to do than pick apart other peoples' emotions.

Infatuation at first sight, but not love.
Yeah this.
And it could work out.
The girl I was closest with and had the most feelings for was the exact opposite situation, a slow burn.
only the stupid shallow kind of love that bieber kids all over the fucking world fall into and out of within days or weeks.
which sadly is what love is today. it's a thing.

Do you believe in life after love?
The real tragedy here is that this wasn't the first comment.
Could have sworn this thread was already made and by someone with the same avatar.
Also it's called lust.
I think it takes a very fickle person to feel such a strong emotion as love towards something based only on first sight.

Video_Game_King loves us too - why else would he have over 26,000 posts?
It doesn't have to be love. It could be an existential mindfuck.
Not really, I believe you could get a strong sense of affection or infatuation, but actual love is built up slowly as you get to know the person, that's why you should never say "I love you" too early; your partner might not be there yet.
Love? No, I think actually knowing someone is a prerequisite for love. But there was a girl who I really liked after the first time I saw her, and not because she was cute or anything, it was just one of those weird gut reactions.
