only to pee. i don't like taking a poop in public bathrooms. a lot of times bathrooms are nasty with pee everywhere.

A lot of the public bathrooms I go to in malls, restaurants, etc are ridiculously clean (I live in Orange County, what else is new?) so I'm totally fine with using the bathroom if I need to. But bathrooms in stadiums, convenience stores or gas stations...*shudder*

I refuse. Those things are always cesspools.

I piss in them all the time, but only shit in them if I absolutely have to. 

To piss, yes, to poop absolutely not unless I'm about to blow. Public bathrooms aren't as bad as high school bathrooms, no one knows how to aim.

Absolutely never. The last time I even stepped foot in a public bathroom was in third grade. I have an iron bladder though and am amazed by how many times my friends always have to piss.

I manage just fine without them, and I don't plan on changing that any time soon.

Only when I really, really have to.  Most of them are not upkept well.

Two weeks ago I was at Venice beach and I had to use the bathroom, it was the most disgusting thing I have seen in my life.

I kinda have a phobia of public restrooms. I only go if I need a piss or I can't hold it any longer. For some reason I can't go if I hear someone outside the stall, something called   Parcopresis I don't know.

Only in emergencies. I prefer to avoid them if possible.

I don't use the urinals. Not after some creepy ass dude checked my junk out at a now defunct theme park. Kind of traumatizing for an 8 year old, to say the least.

I never understood American disdain for the use of the word TOILET.  We have plenty of PUBLIC TOILETS in Australia and I use them only if desperate, but generally they are well maintained in my region.  When I was in the States, people would give me the filthiest of looks when I would where the public toilets are, like I just swore at them.  I don't go there to rest, I go to use the toilet.

I live in a dorm so I really have no choice.

I try to make every effort to avoid it when possible, they are usually in a pretty terrible state.

I'm not a wimp or a germophone, so I'm not afraid of a public restroom. I just say "forget it" when there's piss all over the seat. I do put toilet paper on the seat to sit on.

As of last year I am about 70% through my goal of taking a shit in every major casino on the Vegas strip. Considering that new hotels/casinos are springing up all the time, and I only get out there a couple times a year...this may take me a while.

Yes. I use it to take a piss whenever I have to. But I only use it to take a dump if I really have to go.

I used to never use them until I started to spend more than four hours on campus for classes. Then I had the choice of either using a public bathroom or letting the noises in my gut teach the class.

A tinkle of course but shitting is more of an emergency situation.

Public restrooms make me sad :(
