I hate how this has turned into "take your girlfriend on a nice date" instead of both parties doing things for each other to show appreciation.

Seriously... it is more cliche' to hate on this day than it is to just go with it at this point.

 
Although for me it is just another boring ass day, I work all evening then I got some homework to do.  Nothing exciting for me.

I don't recognize holidays created by greeting card companies.

I'm really glad that my gf broke up with me a month ago. now i don't have to do anything! :D 
i hate holidays when you're in a relationship. i feel like i have to make it extra special for them, even if they don't do the same back. plus i don't feel like those days are special at all. it's just a feeling of "oh crap what will i do today to not screw things up"

It's just the birthday of a friend of mine and that's it. Though I kinda resent her for all the sex she's having...

Two weeks ago, I ran into some (female) friends I've kept in touch with for a few years.  Turns out their previous boyfriends weren't all that.  Broke up during Dec sometime.  So they're drinking their hatorade boy flavored right now.  Thankfully, I'm not like your typical guy.  And no, I'm not a homosexual.  
So.  I'm taking two girls out tonight.  Just for a fun time - dress decent, eat some good food, watch a movie, back to the house, (still) hit up a party.  Prolly a massage.  Well, the massage is a sure thing.  Thankfully I'm not having school on monday.
 
I know most 'gamers' tend to struggle on the social front, but you just have to learn to hold a conversation, something beyond what goes on in your consoles/pc monitors.  You'd be surprised.

relationshipwise i am running out of feet to shoot myself in.

Like i said in another thread, i gave one of my lady friends a teddy bear and a card and all i got was a hug.

Ahhh, it feels weird not having a girlfriend on Valentines day. Broke up about 2 weeks ago. Oh well, it's been a fairly boring old day. Gonna stay in and play some MW2, when i could hit up town for the single ladies in a nightclub tonight. Oh well.

Well today's also Lunar New Year, and where I live, people here put more emphasis on that day since half of the people living in my city are Asian. 

i gave my girlfriend one of those left 4 dead valentines from last year.  win.

This day is just like every other day for me.

You don't need a holiday to tell someone you love them.

I can't wait till the day after Valentine's Day where all the candy is half price!!! YES!!

I used to use Valentines Day as a reminder because on the very same day my mom and ex have a birthday. 
Now after I've gotten a Facebook profile, Valentines Day is useless
