I don't know, I've never had one.  If I did I'm sure it wouldn't be impossible.

I don't have a step mother.

I still don't get along very well with my stepdad, even after being away for quite a while. I guess it's hard for stepparents to imprint on their stepchildren in a positive manner.

If I had a stepmom I would probably not like her, but I'm sure there are people who like their step moms too

I got the nicest step-mom in the world. Although my relationship with her is a bit odd. As she's only two years older than me. I consider her more like a big sister, than a step-mom. And the funny thing is that her younger brother (my step-uncle), is also younger than me. I often tease him by calling him little uncle.

And my step-dad is also a very nice guy. He's probably the most lay back person I have ever met. He's completely dominated by my real mom, but because he's so relaxed, he doesn't seem to mind.

I like my brand new step mom, so no, its not impossible.

I don't have a step mom, but I really do not like it when my mom's boyfriend is over.  I just feel really awkward having him around, and I usually just stay in my room until he leaves.  I also barely talk to him at all and only say hi when he manages to catch me in the process of escaping after I've found out he is here.
