Insane Hippies Mourn The Loss Of Trees

I had a teacher of questionable sanity in high school that missed work for three days because her favorite tree was hit by lightning. Mind you it didn't fall on her house or anything she was just in mourning. true story

I'm a semi-environmentalist, but this is insane. If you cried over every tree that fell, you would be depressed all the time! Good grief! Instead of spending time crying about it, go plant some more!

Whatever floats there boat, if they love and think of nature enough to cry over a dead tree, then more power to them.
If they plant some tree afterwards then it'd be even better, I don`t see whats so crazy about this, a tree can be a powerful thing, anything can be, it`s just the way mankind has brainwashed everyone making it seem like "We" are the only important species on this planet, like this for example "It`s only a cow that was slaughtered"

Yes a tree maybe a bad example but mankind has found a way to put itself on top and be the cocky one who wipes every other species off the earth.

Well some people cry over the death of a person..I suppose there are others who cry over the death of plant life..

I think that is a little extreme, but we all should take care of trees, is the home of many animals :(
