Well i guess its better than what i call my gf. Usually i just stick to, "hey hooker"............we have fun, you should see some of the looks we get lol.
Be original. Figure out your own condescending affectation. That way you have a mental list of names that belong to that relationship only going forward. A few of mine thus far include:
My friend does it to his girlfriend all the time. He also talks to her 2 octaves higher than his normal voice and as if she's a child. It's the most annoying thing ever.

Its not that there is anything wrong with it, but I don't actually want to spend time with anyone that does so. I mean...is there any way to say "Baby" that isn't kind of demeaning to both parties?
It's so fucking annoying. Especially when certain couples where both use it to extreme excess. It gets even worse when there is a long drawn out emphasis combined with a whiny tone. "Oh, baaaaaabby."
