I personally like Marvel much better. They have Spiderman, Ironman, Hulk and X-Men. For some reason I never really liked Batman or Superman. The only character I like from DC would be The Flash.
Which one do you like the most?
Marvel or DC?
The only DC heroes I care about are Batman and Watchmen, but those are so damn good I'll have to give them the edge.
Marvel, 100%. I can't relate to the DC world, and I enjoy Marvel's heroes and villains much more. How can you go wrong with guys like Venom, the Green Goblin, and Spider-Ham?
"Superman is also to accredited to DC.But I would have to side with Marvel. Stan went with Marvel - who am I to disagree with The Man?"Superman is super lame.
The older I get, the more I realize that the writer and artists of a particular book are what is of primary importance to me, and I have no strong singular alliance to any publisher as long as the book is A) good and B) reasonably self-contained.
That said, and totally contradict myself, I'm a total whore for most X-titles. So I kinda have to with Marvel by default.
So long as I'm thinking of obscure Marvel superheroes, maybe someone here can help me to remember the name of a certain character introduced in the early 90's. He was a dorky teen exposed to some kind of crazy energy (I want to say that it was at a circus, but I'm not sure), and he would transform into a cartoony, indestructible clown. It was a joke of a character. I remember he had giant white gloves on his hands, and I want to say that there was a button on those gloves that would change him back, but honestly, I'm not certain on that point. Any suggestions? Man, it's going to bug me until I remember who the heck it was.

It's hard to make choices, but I like Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman and the rest of the JLA(I) more than the Avengers or X-Men. Having said that The New Mutants is still my favorite superhero comic book and the Incredible Hulk my #2 hero. Batman is always going to be #1 in my book. Also, I like the Vertigo line that DC has. Sandman, Books of Magic, Preacher and Death: the High Cost of Living were some of my favorite reads a decade ago.
Speaking of obscure Marvel superheroes...here's another. Anyone recall the mini-series Damage Control about a group of contractors that clean up the mess left in the wake of superhero/supervillian battles? It was a comedy series in the 90s. And it was pretty funny.
"I find that Marvel has better character's, DC has better stories."That's fair to say. For people that actually read comic books DC is definitely the way to go.
