What stge in a game drives you up the wall? What stage almost causes you to throw your controler out the window?
Most hated stage in a game
I know there was one but I can't remember it probably because I blocked it out to prevent further damage
The last level of Ninja Gaiden is hellish. Everything after Red Malth just knocks your ass into a pit and then you have to fight three bosses in a row, one of which is super super hard.
Recently it would have to be the Killer Croc part of Batman AA. It was just so damn ponderous compared to the rest of the game.
" Other than the obvious water dungeon in OOT, probably that call of duty 4 mission on veteran where your in a building full of computers and your getting bombarded with grenades. "I agree with the cod4 mission but I don't get why everyone says the water dungeon is so hard in oot
labyrinth zone, Sonic 1.
even now i cant stand it. the blocky design, the fire breathing heads, the spears, and the annoying yet completely terrifying "YOURE GONNA DROWN" song every Sonic fan has nightmares about happening every 30 seconds.
Recently it would have to be those arcade levels in Banjo 3, besides them being extremely annoying, the fact that they build in these fake crashes annoys me even more.
Another would be The Silo in Call of Duty 2 on Veteran mode on the Xbox 360. How that achievement can be common here is beyond me and I know for sure many people had a hard time getting it.

This one and the open world of No More Heroes
" Other than the obvious water dungeon in OOT, probably that call of duty 4 mission on veteran where your in a building full of computers and your getting bombarded with grenades. "Yeah. This.
The game is fucking broken on the highest difficulty. And this stage goes out of its goddamn way to prove that.
@snide: Maybe they'll finally change his name to "Pansy-ass fall Man" in the next game.
" @dcpc10 said:Yeah, the bunker stage in CoD4 on veteran is definitely one of the more frustrating levels of a game that I've played recently." The defend the base part in Half-Life 2: Episode 2 .
Any stage in Super Mario Sunshine with a capella music playing in the background.
Final Boss Fight "Devil Went Down to Georgia" - Guitar Hero 3 (expert)
There are a few songs that I can't do on expert such as Through the Fire and Flames. But that song is a bonus, not something that is essential to completing the game. But "Devil Went Down to Georgia" was necessary to beat the career (game) and it took me weeks to finally beat it. I even got a screencap of it.
- any GTA Vice City / San Andreas mission that includes flying mini-helicopters with a controller from a van... FUCK !!!!!
- the level from Soldier of Fortune: Payback when you wanna shoot The Moor's helicopter down.... wow i spent a month trying to beat that then i fucking threw the game away
- every dream level of the first Max Payne used absolutely lower my spirit and make me sick for the first few playthroughs, years ago
Thats what i remember for now
Meat Circus is defintiely up there, but it didn't ruin the game. I had real trouble with God of War II just before you fight Clotho/Clothos, there's a series of fights down a spiral where you fight groups of practically every enemy in the game. One mistimed counter against a gorgon's petrifying stare and you're sent back 15 mins to the last save (no checkpoint nearby) and that's only half way down. Not to mention all the annoying prompts such as:" Meat Circus from Psychonauts...Absolutely rage-inducing. "
