O.J Simpsons sentenced to at least 15 years in Prison

LAS VEGAS, Nevada (CNN) -- A Las Vegas judge sentenced fallen gridiron great O.J. Simpson to at least 15 years in prison for leading an armed confrontation last year at a Las Vegas hotel room over sports memorabilia.

Judge Jackie Glass gave Simpson a tongue-lashing before passing sentence.

Better late than never, I guess, but this guy should have been locked up a long, long, time ago for murdering two people.

The reports that I've heard have said that he will be eligible for parole in 5 years, not 9 years...

Was anyone watching? He looked PISSED (who wouldn't be). The look on his face said 'Bitch if weren't shackeled I would jump over this disk and stab you'.  What a fuckup...he had it all and pissed it away with stupidity.

A lot of the info around the net is wrong. Maximum is around 18 years, and he must serve a minimum sentence of 1/3 of that before he is eligible for parole. 6 years is the minimum but it is up to parole officers to decide, and other conditions of the sentencing. I'm guessing it will be around 8 years of hard time.
