Up and Wall-e I saw, Garden State isin uplifting, and  Requiem For A Dream is what put me in this depression. Millions sucks.

aww why you have to ask for movies only? I would recommend Gurren Lagann, but it's an anime.
As for movies, I'd say Forrest Gump, Once, Kungfu Panda, Jerry Maguire. different genres, more choices for you. :)

I don't like to answer these kind of questions because I feel it spoils the way the movie ends. I mean in the sense that you'll know whether things will turn out good in the end or not.

Also, take caution. Lots of these movies people listed are depressing. Anyway, I'm just going to recommend Dumb and Dumber. Why? Because it's funny. Uplifting? I'm not gonna say. But all the laughing you'll be doing should cheer you up.
