Depressed, whats a good uplifting movie?
Uplifting Movie?
Wall-E is not an uplifting movie, that grim depressing inhospitable future.
(500) Days of Summer, I will never speak poorly of (500) Days of Summer.
Up and Wall-e I saw, Garden State isin uplifting, and Requiem For A Dream is what put me in this depression. Millions sucks.

Do you like Rugby? See it. If not you can wait for it on DVD.
Braveheart
Lord of the Rings
Any movie that involves screaming groups of people running at each other with Swords.
Um....
The Hangover
I'd have to agree with Fantastic Mr Fox, if you can find it
Forrest Gump
The Pursuit of Happyness
The Terminal
and the one that always cheers me up, no matter how sad the venture could be throughout
The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou
I can recommend that movie to anyone, really
" Slumdog Millionaire "Agreed.
And I'm going to sarcastically plug in Twilight for the hell of it.
" Wall-E is not an uplifting movie, that grim depressing inhospitable future. (500) Days of Summer, I will never speak poorly of (500) Days of Summer. "I love that movie.
This. Nothing can beat a Rocky montage or tool up sequence! By the time the credits start rolling, you'll be shadow boxing pillows naked." Rocky IV "
Also, since it's Christmas. How about It's a Wonderful Life?
Not a movie, but the song "Don't Stop Me Now" by Queen has NEVER failed to cheer me up.
Talladega Nights if you really want a movie.
I don't like to answer these kind of questions because I feel it spoils the way the movie ends. I mean in the sense that you'll know whether things will turn out good in the end or not.
@MeetThePyro:
Also, take caution. Lots of these movies people listed are depressing. Anyway, I'm just going to recommend Dumb and Dumber. Why? Because it's funny. Uplifting? I'm not gonna say. But all the laughing you'll be doing should cheer you up.
