I was the geeky class clown
What stereotype were/are you at high school?
"Closet nerd. The group of friends I hang out with are mostly casual gamers at best, and occasionally there'll be a time where a few will be discussing something game related and I'll pipe up with some overly nerdy comment and blow my cover, heh."
Same exact thing with me.
I don't really know? I was and am friends with everybody from the nerdiest of nerds and the top prospects for football and basketball in the state and beyond to the stoner kids and the preppy rich kids. I sort of have an amorphous personality that just allows me to adjust depending on who's around. But if I had to stick a stereotype to myself, I guess it would be the Arab kid who's had a beard since 6th grade and is obligated to make some sort of bomb joke at least once a day.
Quite stupid considering the people they should have actually been worried about was the person with the opposite attitude than mine.
I played soccer, so naturally hung out with the soccer guys. My high school was small, so pretty much everyone hung out together on weekends. But my closest friends were the soccer guys.
Socially awkward geek that got bullied a lot, turned to class clown that nobody really wanted to hang out with, now I'm unemployed and a loner. \o/ Isn't life great?
On the plus side, I'm no longer weird as hell. Seriously, I used to steal board pens and erasers.
Unfortunately, because of my spikey hair, I'm mistaken for a guido sometimes (I'm not and never will be), but tbh, I don't think I fit in any particular sterotype. Lucky for me, I am able to be myself and still be very well liked in my school regardless of my non-conforming. People who don't like me probably see me as a junkie or goth because all I usually where are band tees of old bands like Pink Floyd, Zep, and Metallica.
" I'm only in middle school but I'm a bit of everything. I'm the nerd who gets good grades and I'm the athlete who can play lots of sports, and I'm the guy that listens to music that most people haven't even heard of. And I have friends from pretty much every type, even some goth people. "That is pretty much the same exact thing for me man. My friends range from goths to skaters to nerds to hippies to jocks =D
I don't know. I act differently in every class I have. In my math class I'm very quiet and I feel like I want to fall asleep, in my English class I crack a lot of jokes and I guess you could call me the class clown, and in history I am very interested and ask a lot of questions.
" I'm so attractive that all the girls flocked to me.The ugly chicks swooned over me but I pushed em to the side. I'd rather have nothing than a loser. I mean, my hand doesn't have acne and braces, RIGHT FELLAS? The hot girls were always all over me but they couldn't hang out with me, because they had football player boyfriends and I'm not a good enough fighter to get them to leave those losers. I banged plenty of them on the side, though. They'd meet me at lane 12 at the local bowling alley, then we'd head out to the dumpsters after some pizza, Coke, and sweet talking.Now I'm going to the alternative highschool because they claimed I lit a fire in the gym bathroom. It was such a load of shit. The principal just wanted me gone because I was flirting with the attendance secretary who he obviously was hot for. She was like 20 years younger than him, too. Proof that they set me up? Said I was talking gibberish and dancing naked when they caught me. They couldn't figure out how I got out of the Special Ed room. I don't even go to Special Ed, I'm in all AP classes! Did I mention I'm a pirate? Ugh, I hate taking these pills, they make me sad on the inside. I wish I owned a gun... "I lol to the thought of a janitor taking the trash out to the dumpster and seeing you banging some cheerleader and just turning around and walking back into the bowling alley.
I was a Band Geek...who quit band my junior year but still hung out and ate lunch in the band room.
@Fr0Br0: & @Icil: hilarious!
Let's see. I probably played more video games than anyone else in the school, which you'd think would qualify me as a nerd, but I didn't care at all about school and didn't get the required A in at least 5 subjects to qualify. I guess you could call me a geek then, because I know the nerds, speak their language and know their ways, but I'm not really one of them.
I was also a bully, as that got me more in with the "cool" kids, the jocks if you will. I used to play some sports with them too, but I wasn't on a team and I'm definitely not very athletic.
So, somewhere between a geek and a bully, which actually goes against both those stereotypes entirely, but whatever.
